I'd honestly cry if my parents didn't support me in my writing. It is such a huge part of who I am. I know there was a time when they told me that it shouldn't be my first proirity: it wasn't a good feeling. |

The hardest thing for an artist is not having good support. But if you don't give up, you can change some minds. |

Though however hard it is for us to accept at the time, our parents only wish and want what they personally believe to be our best interest in their mind and heart without realizing that we have to make our own futures as they did their own. I hope you and your father have patched things busted and have buried the hatchet that was chopping away at the both of you. We would want the same for our children but we can't force them to live our dreams when they have their own. |
