PROLOGUE
lorcan watched as the wife of Grabeel sobbed uncontrollably into her cold hands. who said immortals couldnt die? everyone. who said they couldn't be killed? no one. Lorcan was a vampire. he had a donor though, which in his opinion made him a goodguy. he was, after all, in balckheart, the sosciety for vampires and the protection of mortals. the head of the sosciety was metisha onyx. when lorcan had joined, he'd amediately clicked with Faye, Ivan, Jack, Cecilia, Atorius and arrabella. Faye, ivans doner, was a beutifull girl of 16, with blonde hair and a king face. Cecila was her best friend, a werewolf, but you'd never guess, what with her chirpy demenour, signature bangles and contaegeous giggle. Jack, lorcan's best friend was a donor also, to the mysterious arabella. arabella was the one Lorcan did not know as well as he knew the others. so much secrets, never really getting to the point, not even looking at the person she was talking to. which broughed Korcan back to Ivan. Ivan had been a funny happy man ontill he attacked Lorcan for no apparent reason and was thrown out of blackheart.
faye sat down beside lorcan, as Grabeel's brother phillippe stood up to make his speech. lorcan looked at his wrist. on it, was a watch with no hands. with it he could tune in to any blackheart's brain, if they were on the same wavelegnth. he fiddled with the knob, trying to find Faye. Suddenely< a large shadow crept up behind him, it's shoulders wide, a short well built man over shadowed lorcan. That man was Ivan. AS lorcan turned to face the short man, Ivan began advancing, batting onlookers away like flies. "Ivan" cholked Marie, Grabeel's wife. Phillippe stopped reading and stared at Ivan. A pretty Russian girl stod up. "Ivan..... dont...." she said. "Katerina" whispered Marie. The russian - Katerina- sat. Lorcan glanced at Faye. Ivan delivered a punch. "Lorcan" screamed Faye. Lorcan strained not to look at Faye. Faye, Ivan's ex-donor, was now lorcann's donor. they spent a lot of time together, but not enough. as long as lorcan took her blood weekly, she was immortal, just like Jack. loracn returned a kick. Lorcan ducked another punch, spun and returnec a punch to ivan's face. Ivan smiled wickedly, backing away towards the cliff overlooking the lake. he jumped, so lorcan was between him and the 50 foot drop into the most deep and inhabited lake in europe. "stupid Vamire powers" muttered lorcan, in referrence to ivan's jump. "they come in handy" said Ivan smugly. Ivan jumped back over lorcan, seizing a chair and bringing it down on lorcan's head. it shattered over his head liked glass on a stone floor. "stupid vampire powers" said ivan, now between Lorcan and the open window, leading to the cliff face. "it does come in handy" replied lorcan, delivering a kick, this time knoocking, Ivan over. ivan stood, and backed away, recoiling from lorcan. lorcan stopped, but ivan continued to back away. "Ivan" warned lorcan inspite of himself. "What?" asked ivan smugly. "the cliff!" said lorcan, widhing he'd shut up. ivan turned but by the time he saw it was too late. Marie let out a sob of despair and a silent tear ran down faye's cheeks. Ivan was gone. Jack came over and put an arm around Lorcan's shoulders. "i could've used some help, you know" pointed out lorcan. "well, i think you had it under controll" said Jack .
