_Scarlett's POV_
I ran down the sidewalk, away from Drake and his need to hold my hand. I heard Jake yell something but I was too far away to understand. I slowed down and walked at a normal pace again. My heart was pounding out of my chest and i turned to see Jake running a few feet behind me. I laughed and he stopped next to me, wrapping an arm around my waist. I leaned into him and we continued walking to the park. Damon went zooming past us on Sage's skateboard. I didn't even know he could ride it.
"YOU GO, SEXY!" Jake yelled to him, and they both started laughing.
"Give me back my board, Damon!" Sage screamed, running toward him.
"****," Damon said and sped up.
"OH! OH! You can't handle it!" Sage yelled, running along side him. He looked at her for a split second and she tackled him. They both fell on to the grass, lucky for them not the pavement. Sage got up quickly grabbing her board. "OH!" She leaned down to Damon's face. He stuck out his tongue and she sped away. Damon got up and starting running after her, they reached the park first. Drake and Dakota were last.

"YEAH! MY CASTLE, B*TCHES," Damon yelled, running to the empty playground. Dakota ran to Stark who was already there, sitting on the grass. Sage ran up the slide and started running through the playground. Jake sat down next to Dakota and I sat down on his lap. He wrapped his arms around me and i leaned back into him.
"Stark where'd you go last night?" I asked, curious why he didn't stay like Dakota did.
"I, uh, had to be home for my mom," He said.
"Oh," Interesting. I looked at him for a couple seconds, examining his face. He didn't look like he was lying but that just didn't sound like him. Dakota didn't think about what he said, she just believed him. Hey, if she trusts him I should too. I looked around the park to see Sage and Damon were doing whatever on the playground; Dakota, Stark, Jake and I were sitting here together and then i saw Drake.He was walking around kicking rocks in no specific direction. I felt myself frown, he looked bored and he shouldn't be over there alone. "Drake!" I yelled, and saw him look up at me. "Get your **** over here!" I patted the spot next to me and Jake. He smiled and walked over. I felt Jake's breath on the back of my neck as he sighed, I shivered as goosebumps spread all over my body. Drake sat down and Dakota suddenly started smiling. Drake looked at her and cracked up laughing.
"HAHAHAHAHA," I laughed sarcastically, I really had no idea what could be so damn funny. Drake looked at me and smiled. "Did it hurt?" I asked, looking at his snakebites.
"Getting snakebites?" He asked.
"Naw! I meant when you fell from heaven!" I said sarcastically.
He smiled, "Not really, it was just a pinch. It kinda felt like when you bite your lip.. But personally, i thought it felt good."
I stared at his lips, watching them turn into a smirk. I looked up at him and he winked. I felt myself blush and i looked away quickly. Suddenly there was a loud thud and we looked to see Damon laying at the bottom of the slide, Sage was at the top.
"Ouch," Damon groaned.
"Oh take it like a man," Sage said as she slid down the slide. Damon rolled out of the way before her feet hit the ground.
"Why do you keep hurting Damon?" Dakota asked, making her voice sound as if she was about to cry.
"Because it makes him stronger," Sage answered, giving Dakota an evil grin. Jake laughed and i felt him shaking beneath me. My phone rang from inside my pocket and i pulled it out to see that it was a call from home. I decided to give my parents the kindess and picked it up.
"Hello?" I said.
"Where the hell are you Scarlett?" Mom yelled frantically.
"I'm with my friends."
"Well get home! We're going out to lunch for your birthday."
"No, you are. I'm busy. Bye, Mom." I hung up the phone and shut if off. "No more calls from them today," I shoved the phone back into my pocket.
"Good," Jake said and he kissed the back of my neck, and i couldn't help but shiver. "They deserve it." He was right, and he knew best. My parent's weren't around for me so I'm giving them a taste of their own medicine.
“Okay, NOW before things get awkward,” Dakota said, and I completely understood what she meant. Then she suddenly burst out singing at the top of her lungs. “IM JUST A BACHELOR, LOOKIN FOR A PARTNER! SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO RIDE, WITHOUT EVEN FALLIN’ OFF. GOTTA BE COMPATIBLE, PUSH ME TO MY LIMITS..” Me and Jake cracked up laughing and Stark smiled. Dakota looked up to the sky trying to remember the rest of the words.

“GIRL WHEN I BREAK YOU OFF, I PROMISE THAT YOU’LL NEVER WANNA GET OFF,” Drake sang and Dakota laughed. “YOU’RE HORNY, LET’S DO IT. RIDE IT, MY PONY. MY SADLE’S WAITING, COME AND JUMP ON IT!” Damn that’s the most perverted song I’ve heard in my entire life and that wasn’t even the whole thing.

In between laughter I just had to ask them about it, “Is that a real song or did you guys make it up?”

“It’s called Pony by Far.” Dakota said smiling, and Drake nodded in agreement.

“That’s so going on my iPod later…” I sighed and rolled off Jake’s lap into the grass. “I’m so tired that this grass feels comfortable.” I stared up into the sky and tried to make things out of the clouds.

_Jake’s POV_

I looked at Scarlett, she was staring into the sky. Damon and Sage came over to join us, which was a mystery since this was actually kind of boring.

“Greetings,” I said imitating an alien the best I could. My phone rang and I pulled it out of my pocket. Now my Mom was calling. I answered it and my mom started blabbing about my grandparents coming from California today. There flight was coming in at 5 and it was already 4:3o. She said I had to come home. I sighed and hung up the phone. “My grandparents are coming in from Cali and I got to go home.”

“Not Fair!” Dakota said. “Bye, bestie.” She leaned over and gave me a hug. I kissed Scarlett goodbye and stood up. I started my walk home and I really didn’t want to go. I mean don’t get me wrong, I missed my grandparents and I wanted to see them but I didn’t want to leave Scarlett there with Drake. She’ll be fine, I told myself, and tried my best to believe it. I turned back to see them all still sitting there and Stark was kissing Dakota. I rolled my eyes and continued down the sidewalk. Everything would be fine.
