the debate of factions, part one: the begenning of everything

"it all started so simply with the creating of the debate society, where people could talk about anything they wanted...as long as it had some validity to it. but then things got out of hand. my name is dr. arms. dr. thadeus three arms to be more exact. theres only a ffew moments before im calledd into the arena to debate brad. im hoping this reaches those who want to know the truth about what exactly has happened to the debate society and its members. it all started so simply..."

4 months earlier...

"what was the site name again?" sancho asked, his eyes wandering the keyboard as his fingers punched in the site name. "http://www.glennbeck.com/realstory/iraq-video.shtml... I love this!" the screen went blank for a moment if only or that as the webpage uploaded showing a video of a reporter in iraq and varios shots of the war on terror happening. "can't say I don't agree with you more brother. HOOAH!!" eric and sancho gave each other high fives for what seemed to dr. arms like the fith time today. this time was right for the debate society's first meeting as he had spent the last week getting everyone excited about its grand opening. althugh there was something about last nights storm that bothered him. "eh... forget the war. its a lost cause." a voice from behind him stated into the conversation. adam, an eighteen year old youth in his prime coughed purposefully as he sat down next to dr. arms and smiled non chalantly and rested his head against the trunk of the tree. "so did you catch the news last night adam?" but he was more interested in what was going on with the current conversation to let anything else charge in at the moment. sancho turned around as the video played again in its loop. "There are many perspectives on this right now, let's take time to know what were talking about before we make random comments. do you support the cause for war?" sancho asked smoothly as eric opened the doors to the huge debate society building, or the d.s.b. as the new members reffered to it. adam adjusted himself into a standing position and brushed himself off as the others made there way into the dark hallway. "nope no support from me...i respect the troops, but i dont support them or the cause, " he said shortly, "by the way, does anyone know how come of all the buildings in the city, we have to get the old cranks old classroom?"

eric laughed as his old friend made the comment thinking back on the times they had shared with with the teacher in question. "I aint saying anything cause tempers flair and me and adam have been friends since 8th grade and i dont want to be a dick, and cause i respect what he has to say even if i dont agree with him on something's. to answer your question adam, they gave us old cranks classroom because it was the cheapest way instead of giving us a new building, but i can understand where your coming from. this place gives me the **** creeps." sancho stepped sideways as he dodged an old spiderweb that nearly had a meeting with his face. "well, i support the troops, even the cuase on one part. were kicking **** and taking names, were the most powerful nation on planet earth. people mess with us, we mess with them harder. isnt that right eric?" he paused just for a second before adding a silent "hooah!" as he watched other clips on the site that eric had pointed him to. dr. arms was silent in contemplation of the storm and what it meant. "i just dont get it. how come there was a report of a meteorite, but then there isnt any meteor?" "i dont really know man, not my problem. if you guys firmly believe in the war then more power to you! im not trying to bash on bush or anything like that, i just could care less about government. To those of you who are republican and support the war good for you, but as for myself? just not my scene."

eric laughed again, "good one, do you even have a scene? any ways, we only have a bit farther to go before we reach the main entrance to the d.s.b., so lets save the debating for then shall we? to answer dr. arms question earlier... i dont know. its more or less the strange fact that it broke up in the atmosphere so easily, something did hit me last night as i was driving home, but it wasnt hard enough to do any damage. although... i did wake up this morning feeling a bit dreary. yeah thats the right word." adam sighed as he remembered what his scene was, the mind shattering sounds of death metal bands, the sight of the mosh pit and the feeling of the rush as the bass blasted out of forty foot high speakers. "my scene is in the mosh pits at death metal shows, " he smiled broadly and gave a slight chuckle and added with a note of seriosnes, "**** some **** up in there. lets put a bunch of terrorists in a mosh pit with me and ill **** them up harder then this entire war! true story." he laughed one more time to releive any doubts in the other members minds. adam then turned to dr. arms and patted him on the shoulder, which was a quite a feat considering how tall he was to dr. arms. sancho then slow down a bit to show him the video that had started there conversation. "well? what's your diagnosis doctor?"

after seeing the fourteen minute video featuring a reporter by the name of glenn beck, shook his head and spoke on the current topic at last, but was interrupted when the group came to a huge set of rusted over double doors with an intricate prophecy on it. eric read it out loud so everyone could hear him.

"two souls, so intertwined, they break apart like glass figurines dropped from high distances. scars unite the two, but as there were, they will never be again. through interactions, the only hope of reconciliation lies, through tears are the hidden truths revealed. the fears one of one, is shared by another. the future of one will be determined by the other. a star is born from the light of the ones heart, and the darkness of the others mind. two will become one, and break apart yet again, only to fall and break apart. more peices fly away, less chance of reconciliation. silence of the two, is more powerful then the noise of many passes. both see each other, both know there fates, and both shall endure there own paths alone forever. knowing that the other will be waiting in the next life.
"trust shall be made anew as an old path is treaded more carefullly, major steps are over looked for the bond to rejoin one to its path. new secrets revealed through more tears, more lies uncovered by the fate on high as drunk lives and somber tears flood the minds and hearts of those connected with the false crime. grudges will be settled once and for all through inaction and interaction. shall life be the same as it ever was? sounds like another one of those old crows was here again. why dod they keep showing up like this? well, in any case..." eric turned around and faced the members with wide eyes and a smile on his face. "WELCOME! ONE AND ALLTO THE FIRST FFICIAL MEETING OF THE DEBATE SOCIETY!" everyone cheered except for dr. thadues three arms as he memorized the prophecy. 'could be of some use to me later.' "everyone please make there way into the room and make yourselves at home, im sure there are some forms of entertainment in here that the student council set up for us!" the doors swung open with much gusto as air rushed in and dust came out of the unused and empty room. dr. arms laughed his head off as the lights slowly turned on and the ampitheatre like rows of seats shown with the signs of poor matenence and covered in cobwebs. "looks like there wont be inflight movies today!"

all through the afternoon they worked to clean the place up and set up or repair the varios podiums and seats, drawing the curtians open and letting some sunlight into the dismal room. after everything had been cleaned up, they took there seats and continued the previos discussion, "dr. arms? i do beleive you were stating something when we were interrupted by some random persons speech ovingly written on the doors?" dr. arms got up and brushed himself off and remembered the video and prepared what he was about to say. "ok... what the ****... its..."dr. arms stopped himself and reprhased what he was about to say. "im all for the saving of the human race and what not, the cleaning up of stupid things... but what does glenn beck have to do with this? i respect him as a reporter but from the two minutes i looked at the video, all hes done to that extent is make an **** of himself by... crap... and ive lost the point. im not all for war, its a nessicary evil and should be changed to something less violent. like playing tag with a pissed off grizzly bear. but thats life for you, some people like war and others dont. the only real point to it is to kill off a part of the world that infectios. while we on the other hand can be seen by other lands that dont want our help as the infection. so the troops try to clear up the infection, and its the same thing with us, were like anitbodies in a syringe. we are there only tempory and sometimes we linger, but the affects are still good either way. ill take my seat now, thank you very much." there was a smattering of appluase as dr. arms took his seat next to adam.

"very good doctor, but has anyone here read 'war and peace'?" a new voice entered the conversation, "i dont think we know your name sir, would you like to introduce yourself to the rest of the members here in the debate society?" the man stood up, his face wrapped in bloodstained bandages as he looked out the one eyehole the hospital afforded him. "my name isnt important, im here under orders from the council to keep an eye on you to make sure you keep on the straight and narrow." dr. arms coughed for a bit before asking another question. "very true that might be, our unknown guest, but we still need a name to call you by... or we could just make one up for you, perhaps?" "call me anony, anony mouse." "very well then, we have ourselves a new member everyone... meet anony mous. please. accompany us, perhaps you could enlighten us on what is happening with the storm we all experienced last night?" "maybe... or maybe not." "you truly are a strange one, anony mous."
