Sorry it took me so long to read and vote...but I am only partially at fault. Dog...how do I say this, politely...between invisible friends? I would have responded sooner, but the piece is SO FREAKING LONG! Having read it I thank you for giving me my favorite line of the day...'he mumbled something that smelled like whiskey.' So where's the ghost? |

thanks for reading alharris. yea, this was probably not a good fit for SM as it was a bit long. It was just a left over character sketch I was working on for another project. there were a few things i really liked about it so figured i would post and see if anyone was up for mashing it. i honestly have no idea where the ghost fits in. i just made up what i thought would be a fun title. lol |

Hey, dog....every time you're gone for more than a week or three, you come back and knock my socks off...lol. Yeah. a tad long, especially for a character sketch!! |

Thanks WWB. I wasn't aware that SM still did projects...that's great news. |

It's not SM sponsored. I think alharris mentioned doing something, JD picked up on it, Aggeloi kicked a boost and then...everyone else piled on...lol. Hell, even Nash came out of his lurking mode!! |

Very interesting approach to a story...you really are a gifted writer. I ignore alot of new material here at SM. It is just to many writers to read them all. So I look for my favs, and I am truly glad to see your back for a spell. I love to read your work, I have said it many times before, and I will say it again. |

Good writing as usual. This speaks of a departure in sorts of style but a very well written piece ... For some reason I hearkened back to John D MacDonald, while reading this. Consider it a compliment because you don't have one particular style you write with a lot of passion and skill and in many interesting ways, gifted-ly so. |
