For those who know me, very few of you truely do (but you know who you are) I have been "away" for a good length of time.  Honestly I missed storymash and the writers I had grown to know and love (themselves and their work).  Several months ago, I came back to the site, looked around a bit and left again.  It wasn't right.  Everything and nothing at all had changed!

Then -- in all actuality, just now -- I decided to check it out once more.  I found WWB's original 'Venting' which naturally led me to Nash's 'Vents are for Hot Air'. So after reading both "chapters" I thought to myself... Well hell, they ain't leaving me out of this. (You loved that didn't ya WWB)

Writerwannabe....WWB....my friend Lex; I miss you and your work.  I miss the days when writers like you and Nash and many others were around.  Where did everyone go?  And I am partly to blame for this disapperance too, I left.  I admit it.  Life got in the way and I stoped caring and writing on here and all together.

My heart goes out to you on your publishing journey.  I, soon, am also going to be venturing out into the unknown and am scared shitless of failure and losing a bunch of money.  Although, I believe with all my heart you will be one of the greats!  (You already are in my eyes, as well as many others of the "old crew" here on SM).  We Texans are a stubborn bunch, keep at it Lex!

Nash... God of all the is Mash, I just want to say a big DITTO and be done with it. 'Nough said.  You probably said everything a hell of a lot better than I ever could.  I spent most of my SM time striving to reach the standards of you and several others. 

 Katrina, Cheesliker, Dogdeity11, Ace, djinndarme, shadinah, alharris, Aggeloi, JD_Renaissance, BazookaJones, WBScott, honeygloom, hebe6405, theblackhand -- most of these name I dug threw my old Wild Wild SM Showdown story that featured the 'oldies'.  Where is everyone and what went wrong with SM??? (besides the lack of change)

Whatever, done saying what little I had to say to a completely pointless continuation of a vent of a vent anyways... much love everyone!  I'll still check back every once in awhile.
