April challenge - Exquisite Corpse  by djinndarme

Although it sounds more like the title of a suspense novel than a game, Exquisite Corpse is a fun way to collaborate with other poets, and to break free from imaginative constraints. Now don’t run off! You don’t need to write poetry to participate.

All you need to be able to do is write a sentence in this format: "Adjective, Noun, Verb, Adjective, Noun."  (For example – Fancy crab brews stunning love) Articles and verb tenses may be added later or adjusted after the poem is complete.

One rule of Exquisite Corpse we can ignore for this SM game is that each participant is unaware of what the others have written. Before you post your sentence, feel free to read what came before— or not. Either way I’m sure we’ll produce an insanely creative poem to celebrate National Poetry Month.

At the end of the game, I’ll put the sentences together and re-post as a new story for all to read.

Thanks, Alharris, for suggesting we do something for National Poetry Month.
