"As I traveled further along, further away from my body, my wife, my children, I discovered that the darkness was but a brief transition. The voices began to fade and something new was taking form. I was disconnected from reality as I knew it to be. All around me and through me, every fiber of my being illuminated the most brilliant shades of gold! I was no longer that person who had just been shot.

 

I had a fleeting thought of my wife and suddenly I felt her presence near. Love, beauty, admiration. These feelings  multiplied a million times over. I felt one with them. I connected to all things. My existence began to take on new meaning. I realized my physical life was but a drop of water taken from the ocean. Every element from the ocean was contained within that single drop of water. And now here I was, being put back into the ocean from which I came."

 

" Times up Mr. Rivera!" The Doc quikly shuffles her notes together forming a neatly organized stack. " I think we've made some progress today. If we keep this up, you'll be outta that straight jacket in no time!"

 

Time! Time presses on. Time is a concept, a practice in modern day society. It's an idea irrelevant to everything. Linear time is something we've come to accept. But ,as time presses on, it doesn't erase or dissolve any given experience. Once a moment is birthed into existence, it remains forever and can be relived daily.
