The story so far:
donut was getting tired of all the dodging that he had to keep doing from getting hit by the hundreds of barbed spines burled spat at him like a torrent of hate. "DAMN IT ALL!" he said as his leg was peirced by five arrorws, "i will not let it end like this! oxe, can you hear me?" the eye that had been floating around donuts head like a halo sputtered to life as it glowed orange with the activity with it. "loud and clear donut, whats up.... or i should say coming down. right?" "shut it and tell me what the **** is up with all the arrows being shot at me?"
oxes eye looked at his left leg and use a strong enough gust of wind to send the arrows hurling back towards there owners. "damn it! the bugs are this far into these places? we need to find the othertrelent colonists and fast! we cant let these bugs take over!" oxes eye bobbed up and down in agreement. "ill go ahead outside there range and see what i can find!" the eye flew away from donut as he was left to fend for himself. "damn, if only i hadnt chosen such a useless form," he muttered to himself.
"wait, this is no time for you to be babbling on like a loon!" a voice said from behind him. it seemed like it was coming from the floating greenish orb, or maybe it was the half dome like shield that it was under. "um.... yeah, this is a little bit more freaky then im used to.... cna you help me?" donut asked as another seven arrows found there mark in his back, and three had enough force behind them to stick him to the ground. "damn... this is just not my day today is it?" he noticed that he didnt bleed, but light just simply floated out of him and disapeared. "im afraid that im going to help you the only way i can, theres another half of me waiting not far from here. interested?"
donut swore under his breath. "i will take this as a yes." with that the orb underneath the half dome like sheild covered him as donut watched in amazment as the archers were instantly seperated from there arms, and the tunnel collasped ontop of them. "OXE!" he screamed and held out a hand in front of him, his light slowly evaporating in front of his eyes. "NO!" "do not worry! shes safe on the other side of that mess. we need to get going now!" the orb comforted him in urgent tones.
"very well, take me to your other half." domut said in a defeated kind of voice. he knew he didnt have very much oxegen left in this area anyways.
"already there." the orb said with finality. "by the way? my names james. and you must be donut right? in anycase, here we are." james said with a tiny bit of pride.
