there was a girl name lacey she was a really shy girl.  She was so shy that she would make excues to not go up to the class and present.  Her friends would encourage her to talk in front of class or to people or take a class which can help her not be shy.  But she said NO i would not be able to do i just know it she would say it is not my thing to go up and talk in front of the class or people because i am just too SHY!. One day she was sitting at lunch eating her tuna sandwich when a person came up to her and said her this is a spelling bee contest want in it? and she smiled and him and said Yes! Iwould love to thanks! and they guy said back your welcome.  That night lacey thought should she really go into that contest but then her mother came in and said ''lacey dinner is ready''! are you coming downstairs?.  ''Yep mom i am coming'', hey mom can you come here for a sec? ''yea sure i am coming''.  She came from her room and went to lacey's room and sat on her bed and said what is it honey? well mom i was thinking of doing this contest of spelling bee since i like to spell alot.  Do you think i should do it? ''of course honey you should maybe this will make you not to be so shy in school you know what i mean? ''yes mom i do'' okay let's go downstairs now or the dinner will be gone'' you know what i mean right? ''yep'' i said and we laughned as we went downstairs.  Next day i went to the spelling bee contest and they were 10 kids standing in the line.  This old looking lady came out from the backstage saying ''Hello bee spellers are you ready to spell? everybody nodded.  ''Well'' the old looking lady said my name is Miss.Kathrine nice to meet you all''.  ''Okay now i am going to call out everybody's name plz say here if you are here make sure you say it out loud'' i felt my throat get tight.  All of sudden she said ''Lacey Baxter and i said here and she said '' can you say it agian plz'' all the kids turned around and looked at me and then i said ''here'' and then eveybody turned back and faced the teacher i felt relieved.  Then she said okay kids these are the words that you will need to know for your spelling bee she said as she was passing out the words list then she turned around and faced us and said ''well good luck everybody'.   After i got home i went in my room and got on my bed then took out my words list sheet from my backpack and studied it until i fell asleep.  Then suddenly i heard a voice saying ''wake up'' Lacey time to go to school'' and i got up and said ''What''!.  And i couldn't it beleive it that it was 7:25 and my bus comes at 7: 32 i got up and told mom thanks in a relevied way and went straight to the restroom and i got ready in 5 mins and went to my bus stop the time was 7:35 and the bus still wasn't here and it was really cold outside i was freezing to death.  A girl who comes to my bus stop came up to me and said ''do you know why is it taking so long for the bus to come''  and i said ''i have know clue it should be here by now'' and then turned around and went back to her spot in the line. The bus came i went inside the bus ans sa no the windowside and looked out the window it was pretty dark out there.  We reached school and i got off the bus quickly because it was really really cold and went inside to my locker started to put my stuff away and the bell rane to get to the 1st class and i quickyl closed my lockr and ran to my 1st class which was P.E class i went inside the locker room got dressed and quickly went to my spot in the gym clas and sat down and then we did exerice, ran two laps.  After 6th period which was art class i went straight to my spelling bee contest room and i went inside and nobody was there yet so i sat down on a table with 3 chairs on it and took out my spelling bee sheet and practiced until all the kids came and then Miss.Kathrine came out and said get your ''spelling bee sheet and studied it then i will call each of you to say your spelling words okay'' then everybody said 'yes mama'' and started it studying
