Her voice was intoxicating as the words drifted sweetly from her lips to my ears. I stared hungrily as the crowd in the hole in a wall club seemed to disappear in front of my very eyes. It was just me and her as it felt like I floated in a sea of lovely melody. I gazed into her intriguing golden brown eyes and fell in love with the light brown texture of her skin. Soon I found myself in the pit of my own imagination, standing next to her in a dark, unknown apartment. I ran my fingers through her golden brown natural curls as placed her light, delicate hands on the small of my neck. "What's your name?" I asked lightly as my words kissed her ears gently.
"Saleena you?" Her voice was as beautiful as the melody that slipped off her tongue. I recognized the name and the way she spoke, and I realized that this majestic creature that stood in front of me was of the Melodia planet and she was of the rare species my fellow man knew as the SongBird. I knew how rare of a breed this woman was, just like I knew that I was an extremely gifted individual to be able to be chosen by the beautiful SongBird to enter into her melodic imagination.
A part of me wanted to ask why I've been chosen by Saleena, but I could only respond with my nae as my hands explored the softness of her body."I am Juoquin, man of Old Earth." I smiled as her eyes flirted with mine. Of all the galaxies I've explored, I have never known perfection like the woman who stood in front of me. I never wanted to be a part of something as bad as I wanted to be a part of her her. I wanted more than her acceptance. I wanted her all.
She knew it too, as her every movement began to tease me. She moved with a flowing poetry that could've bested Yeats and Dickinson all with one flex of her fingers. She stroked my chest and my shirt seemed to melt her shirt. I melted too. "I could feel your desire for me, Juoquin. Your body burns like a thousand suns, yet you're cool to the touch." She bit her lip as I pulled her closer. I felt her soft hands travel up my back. The nerves in my back pulsated and in that moment, I thanked God for my physique. I could tell that her fingers enjoyed the trip from my muscular back to my broad shoulders. Soon I didn't have to pull the poetic being closer to me. She was drawing me in closer to her.
I licked my lips and leane d in closer, hoping my lips would have the pleasure of touching hers. The closer our lips came to one another, the more my body's anticipation rose. I could feel the chemistry drawing us closer and closer to each other. When lovers finding one another in each other's arms. We felt right. We felt like one.
Something should've alerted me that this movement was too perfect, but it's hard to picture something wrong when everything feels so right. It's hard to think something wrong when you're under a woman whose lips taste like honey and whose curves are as soft as a cloud plucked from Heaven. I couldn't take my hands off of her. I was hypnotized by her eyes. Her kisses were soft as the music that emanated from the room, and like a spider that toyed with caught prey, I was trapped by the movements of her tongue lashing on my body. I could no longer distinguish reality from imagination as we connected physically.
Her body felt like a temple of sanctitude ravaged by thunderous rains. She clutched onto my body tightly as I did hers. I found love inside of her, the kind of love it would take millenniums to find and it was right here melting inside of my hands. Her climaxes were exhilarating as she shuddered under my touch. Even her pants of pleasure brought me a great joy as I knew this love moment was coming to an end.
I lay with her until the music came to an end. Her sleep was sweet. Her breath filled my ears with the desire of the old. I knew then the love between an ancient king and queen.
The world in which I found eternal in comfort in began to melt around me. The dream was coming to an end as the music began to dwindle down. I found myself back in the old, uncomfortable ar seat, clothes drenched in sweat and body longing to be next to hers. I watch as she bowed courteously to the myriad of species in the audience. Each member of the audience rose from their seats to offer the young SongBird their applause, all but me. I was too entranced, to fixated to even think to stand. I was also the only one who met her golden gaze. I was the chosen one.
When she left the stage, I was back to my desolate existence, a veteran from Old Earth whose scars couldn't even be healed by even the greatest Guaverian liqour. After I guzzled the last shot of Guaverian Ginger, I tipped the three-eyed bartender and took my leave. He looked at me as though he expected to see me again tomorrow night, but I was not so sure, not after tonight, not after the things I've seen.
I tugged my leather jacket close and flipped my colla up, ready to embrace the Guarevian winter. When I stepped outside, I was kissed by the Guaverian wind with each snowflake melting into my cheeks and my leather jacket. The flakes did a job of sobering me up. The Guaverian Ginger did a good job of keeping me warm. I looked up and down the snow covered plain when I saw the huge polar bear-like creature strolling down the road staggering. I thought the Guavarien Ginger had caught a hold to him until I saw his wounds. He fell hard in the snow and an old sense of comradery came over me. I walked over to him and placed my hand on his great neck and his breathing slow. The Guavarien Ginger caused my words to slur as I asked him, "What happened, great beast?"
He struggled to answer and when he did; his great voice was just a little bit above a whisper. "I was attacked by a great feline being. I seen the cat and his master asking a child where something called a SongBird was singing tonight." The great bear's gasp for air caused me to shudder. Whatever caused this being to be in the state it was in must've been great indeed. "They had the child in a corner, but the young boy would not give the location of this SongBird. He stood defiantly. I can still remember his black orc-like eyes. They struck the child when he yelled 'I'll never tell where Saleena is!'" I pictured the young boy in my mind standing against a force far greater than him, and I realized that bravery still existed in the universe. Then it struck me that the person who they were searching for was my love, Saleena.
This and the Guaverian Ginger brought out the soldier in me, as I shook the great monster and yelled, demanding answers, "Where's the young boy!? Where is he at now!?" I shook and shook until the great bear didn't respond anymore. I felt her gaze upon me and I turned to see her worried face. Our eyes caught contact again before I felt something else, something evil come over the horizon. I seen her bolt in the opposite direction of the evil presence. I saw the evil come over the horizon, and even though I could see nothing but shadows, the grotesque tier-being's teeth still snarled demonically and the evil aura that surrounded its master was a enough to freeze everyone in their snowy tracks. Everyone but me.
I pulled the Valerian pistol from my belt and opened fire. The blast caught the master in his chest and he flew back a few feet. He was a man, at least a man-like being. I ran after Saleena, hoping to catch up to her. I heard her pants as she reached out for her second wind. I yelled for her to wait, but her legs pumped faster as she looked back at me chasing her. I reached out for her, hoping to grasp her, but her long strides were slowed when the giant feline jumped in front of her. She slid on her bottom and her hands found balance in the snow. Fear had gripped her. It was time for action.
I slid under the great beast and opened fire at the weakest spt on the great beast and opened fire at the weakest spot on the great feline. The great being fell to the ground hurt as I rolled from under its dramatic drop. Saleena stood up quickly and ran into the nearest alley. I quickly jumped to my feet and ran after her. She was poetry in motion as she jumped over what was supposed to be a dead end with the ease of an alley cat. This would've been a lot easier had I been sober. I looked around and saw two fire escapes. I smiled at the solutions that were built next to me. I climbed the one closest to me and jumped over the great wall. It was slippert and the last thing I can remember was the wind flowing up my back and the hard ground that was kind enough to meet me.
The next thing I know, I waking up in a familiar place. Even though my eyesight was still groggy, the feeling the bed gave me was like I was floating in Heaven. The softness of the hand stroking my face reminded so much of my mother's. It brought a comfort unparallel. The woman who cared for me was still but a shadow, but I knew as soon as I heard her voice that this was love. "Are you okay, love?"
I smiled as my eyesight began to return to me. The bright candlelight began ti bring the shape of the beauty who sat next to me. "Saleena?"
I tried to rise, but she placed one finger over my mouth and pushed gently against my chest. "Rest now, soldier." I laid back down and gazed at her beauty. I remained quiet, awestruck by her beauty. She grabbed a warm towel from the miniature dresser that rested beside me and placed it on my forehead. "You know that was an awfully brave thing you did for me back there." I smiled and I saw her golden gaze freeze in my own stare. "I don't know why you placed yourself in so much danger, but...." She leaned into my ear and she smelled just as sweet as I remembered. "...I really appreciate it." She kissed my cheek. She rose from the bed and attempted to leave me.
I grabbed her hand as soft as I would grasp a child and I stopped her. "Aren't you going to ask me why?"
Her eyes held no questions, only answers. "I know why."
I rose from the bed and stood in front of her. Even though my body was still weak from the fall, my heart gave me strength. I cupped her hands into mines and I explained to her the reason I truly saved her. "No you don't. I saved you because my heart compelled me to. I know if I hadn't stepped in, I would've taken the chance of never knowing love, as least the way I knew it with you."
"But you don't know me....."
She pleaded, but my smile eased her mind. "That's the thing, I don't have to know you. I know what you represent."
She smacked her lips and asked, "And what is it that I represent?"
I bowed my head in her presence like a king would do to his bride. "You represent every aspect of love that God ever granted man and even if you do not choose me, I will still protect you forever."
"Do you know what you're saying? There are some very evil people after me."
"Well they will have to kill me before I ever let them get to you." I gently grabbed her chin and I could see the tears forming in her eyes. She had never known love before. We were both two beings cut from the same cloth, the same pain. She was my other half, the part of my heart that seemed like it has been missing for years. I finally found my purpose. "Will you let me protect you?"
She could feel the sincerity in my voice as she wrapped her arms around my neck. She looked deep into my eyes and she answered with her lips. They were just as sweet as her song.
