Yes the fa la la season and all that to do kept me from one of my favorite past times. Writing. The new year resolution is to write at least one paragraph a day and hopefully work up to a page a day. That is the goal but here it is almost six weeks into the year and this is my first post.
Oh, well. I do have a day job that I will be keeping.
I've missed y'all. I'm looking forward to getting caught up on your stories and posts too.
May 2010 be a mashing year.

Thank you. I am stunned at your comments, quite shocked. Yes, I know the area well and the dogs. It is easier to write what is familiar so for my first serious attempts and pieces that I am sharing, I am choosing the familiar though I do want to expand and truly create fiction.

I get off track with the silliest of grammar, typo or punctuation errors. A great story line can so easily get lost because of the simple mechanics.

On a similar note. Is it possible to see how many folks have voted or scored you?
Comments are better because I am looking for constructive criticism. The only way to improve is to keep writing and listening to feedback.
However the score can be skewed by one very low vote rather than several mediocre votes. It would be interesting to see but not an absolute necessity the actual vote count.

Do keep it coming. I want to know where you are going with the story and how it will play out.
