Lies are what the world is made of

On here, on there.

We wonder who we can trust

But never dare.

Someone says one thing

And then another.

Then before you know it

Everyone’s yelling at eachother.

So if we didn’t lie

And kept our stories straight.

Then maybe

Just maybe we wouldn’t hesitate.

The world would be safer

And a little more real.

If we all didn’t lie

That’s how I feel.
