The beginning got me hook, but I must say that the ending left me wanting. Damn.

It's really good overall,: I liked the premise, and the smooth writting style...just would like to know more.

This had a very Terry Pratchett kind of feel to it, which is good because I enjoy his work a lot. As I did this one. I like the idea of Second Line Esoteric Librarian. Keepers of Knowledge and Travelers of Time, that whole spiel. There was just one line that threw me. After spending 1000 years crossing 3 continents over 12 decades...maybe you meant 100 years? I don't know. Only thing I saw wrong with this. Though perhaps some build-up to the other character's death could provide a focal point for his "Damn"
