SACRED BRICKS AND MORTAR - April 28  by alharris

Sacred Bricks and Mortar

I knocked on the door

of the bride,

the bride of the

Incarnate Word.

'I'm here to pay my respects,'

said I,

to the woman of so much

I've heard.

She opened wide her

welcoming door

as another sinner

slipped in.

'I've seen your soul many times,'

said she.

'May peace be with you,

my friend.'
