A poem... not a story  by aggykryss

Smile on the surface

You smile

And say boy, it will be alright, boy

It will be alright

But in the depths of your sorrow

You know, girl you know,

It will never be alright

Boy, it will never be alright

Smile on the surface

Lasts for a little while

Only a little while

'Till the heart covered by the silly smile

Shatters and tears out your soul

It tears out your soul

And you're empty in your shell now, girl

You're empty inside that shell

The smile cracks and fades and burns away

And there is nothing left to you now, girl

There is nothing left to you now
