Not every piece of writing is fiction,my friend.Sometimes one needs to perform an introspective analysis in order to...feel better :) .When it comes to readers,I (delude myself into believing eh?) have my fair share.I like this site because it gives me a proper organizational feeling.I am not interested in catering to everyone's taste.I've been called very nice names and very bad names. The problem with these is simple : they are non-constructive . Between you and I, I find two people on this site capable of intelligent critique . Let me say this . I came here in ancient times to improve my writing and organize my imagination into compartments represented by , more or less, asinine stories . I have been attacked from every possible angle . I have been praised from every possible angle . This is why I do not get into arguments anymore . I know the outcome before they start . This site is an asset because it can help you draw a consensus concerning your own creative focus . I know what it did just that in my case . This is all I need . Actually, this site is getting a little bit cliche for my taste . Too ...harmonious . But hey, let's wait a little longer .

It is a hot potato issue and some people do not like when it is touched upon , even though everyone is encouraged to do so . There is a saying that ''no club is good enough to take me in.'' You might think it is a very self-centered statement . Perhaps, on one level. Still, when one finds rules to be vague at best, the most prudent course of action would be to change them or do not join the club . It is a shame, because the whole issue could be easily fixed . Then again, some people may like it that way . Also, if one is not in it for the money (cough) , then the only element left is exposure . If one already has been ''exposed'' in one's own mind , then contests are merely testing grounds , i.e. put it out there whatever the rules are . You will not win but you will improve yourself and be ''partially noticed.'' They wanted a suggestion . Well, here it is . The rest is up to the powers that be .

This is one of the traps, you see . Without knowing what you really want , you jump somewhere . Then you battle for no apparent reason . Battle where it is ''meat and potatoes'' , go with the flow otheriwse . I usually keep my opinions to myself unless asked or otherwise provoked . Or if THE time to make a move has arrived . Other than that , open analysis is counterproductive .

They very often include presentations prepared by the course participants . They are mandatory parts for business people and so on . Let's take the course comprises fifty individuals . Everyone is asked to prepare some **** about themselves . Then you stand in front of a panel and people tell you what they thought of your presentation . I once prepared a presentation involving ''complex vocabulary connected with crime scenes .'' One person then told me that '' I don't mean to be rude but it was boring .'' Fine . I saw them . They saw me . End of story . I could comment on their presentation but I really hold no grudge when it comes to such trivial matters . Not my nature . I actually appreciate criticism because I always consider praise to harbor ulterior motives O.O

No, the character was not in an accident. He just walks like this. Some people just have it that way. If you have not seen anyone walk like this, it would be hard to explain. It is not an impediment, just a different style so to speak. You sort of wobble. The character is not pissed off at religion per se. Deep down he is pissed at the whole social structure, I'd wager, and he analyzes its various levels, bringing the ultimate question : what is life really worth for ? He also talks about life as a synergy of everything happening at once. He is inside and it is all buzzing around, but still, there is silence. Perhaps I'll try to clarify it.

Let me put it this way. I am a practical person. Writing is not exactly the focus for such people, as you well know. I am the only one who finds writing engaging... as long as my family is concerned. Tough facts are simple . I do meet published authors from time to time by ''accident''...they do confirm fiction is THE most difficult market element. Of course it is. Business stuff, technical stuff - people can relate to it. You need to be very, very intelligent to do the same with fiction. Stanislaw Lem, a Polish science-fiction writer,had an IQ of 180+ and '' thought with a speed akin to a machine gun.'' Philip K.Dick as well. Stephen King is probably within the same range. This is exactly what one needs to be a successful/i.e. convincing fiction writer,science or not. Sophisticated language can very easily turn into sophistry if one is not careful . Orwell knew that all too well. Background in the way ''the real world'' operates is a BIG plus. No. I would wager it is a requirement actually. Practical experience is extremely important if one wants to be convincing. And I would also forget about fiction/reality boundary. You create a mental block , you generate it upon yourself, so to speak. Others/readers and such/ treat it the same way and - subsequently - your message / revenue eh / whatever you want - its power diminishes. A vicious circle.

Personally, I wish I could direct movies/I literally see a movie in my head when writing/. It would be easier for me, I believe...but my present experience in the matter is zilch..so far.

I do have ''some'' experience with religious individuals. And I do have ''some'' experience with places considered to be different. The way you have described inner justification mechanisms are excellent. I do think this is precisely how majority of such individuals would react. The only difference I can find is that many times I hear ''spirits are demons'' so , perhaps, ''you'' from the story would know about it beforehand.

I enjoy clarity. I would like to know where did this entire ''mental health'' field come from. It seems rather preordained to me. And I would even go so far as to say that sites like these are being visited by various governmental agencies this very minute. You may think it is absurd, I don't care. It is a good profiling method to find out about A or Z. If they check MySpace profiles, why wouldn't they check this one out. After what I have written, I doubt I would ever be allowed to enter the U.S. Well. Making a statement about themselves, not about me.

I find entire mental health industry to have insinuated itself out of the blue and is keeping some sort of ''authority'' now. It is absurd to see people taken away way easier than to prisons. How many times have I heard that the so-called ''mental health professionals'' are even bigger fruitcakes than their patients. I did go to some voluntarily and the degree of their stupidity amazed me so much that I vowed never to come in contact with the ''mental health profession'' again. People with problems usually choose that path - to help themselves, someone in their family, et al. Which is why it is better to avoid them.

Meaning : person A is described on Monday, B Tuesday and so on. No connection between A and B. I will focus on their inner reactions and how does the outer environment perceive them/how it was supposed to perceive them . Truly intelligent people have it more difficult in this human interpretation of life. They have to operate on two layers : one consensual, the other one as they truly see it. Still, truly does not mean ''freely'' does it. Why is there a correlation between mental illness and intelligence ? Simple. The more you see, the worse it is for you in this particular environment. Why ? Because one can question this entire edifice, yes, but there is still the intellectual threshold to which people gravitate. If you go beyond this threshold then you become a target. I daresay I have met a few geniuses in my life so I know what I am talking about. Fantastic people , by the way. You just need to understand them that their supposed ''arrogance'' is actually a defense mechanism ; that their ''withdrawal'' from society is not because they want to - they are forced into it. What I mean is this. I did not say I was not interested in comments . I have observed a pattern, being repeated over and over again, in various comments,whether they are positive or negative per se. This patten is valid and I do adhere to it because it does correspond with my perception as well. I did improve a lot, from my perspective, this is why this site is a good investment for me,so to speak. This common pattern is the same, regardless of the comment. Everyone tests everyone else, I meant it to be just a small portion indicating how would people react. Nothing personal,really. Besides, I will not continue my testing routines..I already know what I wanted to know. I also gotta be honest when I say that I never understood the degree of exhilaration/infuriation exhibited by some individuals when reading the works of others/their own?..it is good, I guess, but even if I did that - I have to be honest again - I would be lying. So I don't do it. I don't praise someone because it'd be akin to hypocrisy.

I am surprised that you are my fan...it is just weird to me because based on the interview you are in your thirties I'd imagine..then I am younger an d never worked around books. I just never really called myself a ''fan'' of anyone because, in my view, fans are very ephemeral...if you are a fan of yourself, it is the only certainty one can get I think. Internally, that is. Nonetheless, it is good to know as you do not seem to be a person who makes stuff up just to make people feel better. Also, you do have some writing experience from what I can tell..which means I can define what is your standard of reasoning.

Well..thank you for your words. Is English your ''native'' language or the language you use in your daily life ? Just curious. I find English a convenient tool, so to speak. It's very precise. There is only one language I could write anything which might be sensible : Polish. But Polish tends to be very flowery, you can talk about stuff for hours and never say anything. English demands more precision and certain words just cannot be translated - this is why I like it. On the other hand..damn. Spelling is a bitch. American spelling is still better than British/Commonwealth, though.Did you know that English was a phonetic language and very strong r too ? Well..but this was Old English and Middle English, I think..then it got kinda messed up.

Yeah...I'm not an automaton who sits down at that and that time writes this and this piece and then gets up. It just comes to me , out of the blue. I see a situation in real life, whatever it is, and then I just do something about it. I prefer it that way. Better than suffering from the writer's block.

Hi, I am curious..do you use mis-spelling as a tool of enhancing your writing? I've known you for some time now and it is always conspicuous in your work..don't get me wrong,though, just a question?

Your stories are self-aware entities to me, so to speak..it is rare to find that here.

What strikes me is that you have published five chapters so fast..if you have done this without copying then you are an avid writer indeed. You have a nice writing style, as well as the layout..but I prefer different stories, so to speak, so I cannot really say anything more. Good that you comment right after joining,though.It is rare here.

It has a steady flow to it, yes, but it reminds me of a typical psychological profile concerning a serial killer, especially the projection onto his victims that they are his ''mothers'' as I understood it. This makes it a little cliche , it would be so much better if there was something ... that a horror-movie watching person did not anticipate.

When I read what you wrote it reminds me of how some people can feel when reading my stuff...I can find many interpretations of your thoughts and grade them from the highest to the lowest..but then again, it is only when one applies their view and personal spin on life. To me, it is about self-discernment, albeit in a highly complex manner.

Very poetic, or so it looks to me. You imbue it with what I ignore - I tend to focus on the story more, assuming that people will add the rest for themselves...I never liked lengthy descriptions,maybe that's why. Good, it makes sense..and has a more profound meaning I think,than it appears.
