"Hey Kimi!" I yelled. Kimi, my friend, was playing a normal game of tag with me, but there was something interesting I found. I stopped at a little alley. Kimi ran to me. "Yes? What is it?" asked Kimi. I pointed to a person. He lay there, unconsious and not moving. "Oh gosh, we have to help him!" she said. She ran to the man to help him, but then, I felt a dark aura coming from the man. "Kimi come he--," I was too late. The man had already killed her. At that moment, I recalled the same thing that happened to my parents. They were killed. Kimi and my parents were killed by... vampires.

"W-What have you done?!" I asked the vampire. "I killed her, that's what! Your turn," the vampire said, walking up to me. I stepped back as far as I could. My foot was on the road. A car whizzed by. I took my foot off the road and ran along the sidewalk, the vampire chasing after me.  "Go away!" I yelled. The bystanders thought it was father and child moment, the father insulting the child and the child being the one hurt. They did nothing to help.

I faced a dead end. "Time to die, little girl," the vampire said as he got closer and closer.

"I think you mean that you will die today?"

The vampire around and saw nothing. He gave up trying to find that person, but when turned his attention to me, he found the guy he was looking for. The person protecting me pulled out his gun and shot the vampire. The vampire fell back, lying dead on the ground.

"Are you okay?" asked the man. I could not respond. I could simply nod. He smiled. "That's good. My name is Arashi. Nice to meet you," he said. "M-My name is Riku," I replied. "Dont you need to get back to your parents?" Arashi asked. "No. I dont. I have nothing to go back to anymore," I said, staring at the ground.  "Aw, that;s too bad. I'll take you in! Come with me," Arashi said, cheerfully. I hesitated, but finally started walking with him to a smally house.

Arashi opened the door. I saw a blonde greet us. "Welcome, Arashi, my son!" the blonde said, about to jump on him. Arashi stepped back. "Leave me alone father," Arashi complained. He entered the house. The blonde about closed the door until he saw me. "And who is this?" the blonde asked.  Arashi turned to him. "His name is Riku," He said and walked to his bedroom. "Come inside little one," the blonde said. "My name is Hikaru," I nodded, not know what to say. "Dont you have any parents?" He asked. "N-No, Hikaru," I responded. Hikaru paused for a minute. "Oh please! Call me father!" he laughed. "O-Okay, father," I said. I felt like I was loved for the first time. A few years later, I went to a highschool. There was a day class and a night class. For me, I was in the day class.
