Damn these cobwebs and rats, they make the catacombs so much harder to navigate and with no weapon as of yet to beat them away im forced to try and ignore them.
I guess I had been wandering the many tunnels for a good two hours before I thought I had found a way out, but it turned out to be a trick, undoubtedly set by the owner of the strange hissing voice.
As I was turning a corner I saw a glimpse of light out of the corner of my eye, it turned out to be what I thought at first was just an old sword lodged into the brickwork, but then I remembered something the voice had said earlier.
"The weapon you require will be found soon, but you will not see it as nessecary straight away"
I guess this is what he meant by that, seeing as i didnt think it would be any use being as old and crapped out as it was, but i'm sure I will need it at some point.
Another hour of wondering delivered me to the large stone door I had come through on my journey to the center of the catacombs, so I must have been headed in the right direction, I recognised the large piece of the door that was missing on the bottom left corner. At last, I could see light at the end of the tunnel, beaming towards me from the open door ahead. I started to run, tripping slightly on a rock, but eager to reach the open space of outdoors.
"Hello world, did you miss me?" I said to the floor as I clambered over the rocks blocking the bottom half of the door.
