The story so far:
Donald finally got back to sleep after his dream, but it was still at the back of his mind when he woke up the next morning. He walked around his house in a daze, hoping that coffee would help his odd feeling. By the time he was ready to leave for work, he seemed to be back to his normal self.
He left his apartment twenty minutes before work, heading south down the sidewalk. He had always liked his job because of the short brisk walk he had every morning. He would leave just a few minutes early so that way he could swing by the park. He had always liked the out doors ever since he was a kid.
Donald's two strides crossed each sidewalk slab with bounce. The air was mixed with a cool summers breeze, smell of fresh flowers, and of course the cities sewer system. Donald had lived in the same apartment for almost four years, and nothing about the sewer system improved.
As he came around the cornor of the park enterance, he came faced to faced with a gruff of a man. The man had a morning after shave, and long slimey hair pulled back into a pony tail. What seemed wierd to Donald was the man's outfit. He wore a black suit, neatly button, and pressed. The man seemed out of character.
"Excuse me, sir." Donald said side-stepping the man, and slightly nodding. Donald didn't know if the man accepted his apogoly or not, he didn't speak but continued down the lane.
Donald headed towards his office again, glancing every once in while back at the man. Four strides down the sidewalk, the man had stopped and turned to look in Donald's direction. Six Strides and the man had started in Donald's direction. Strange, he wondered if the man had forgotten something.
Upon entering his last stretch of his journey, Donald noticed that the man was still following him- or going in the same direction. Once Donald was inside he stopped at the receptionist desk.
"Penny?" Donald asked the middle-aged women, "Is there a gruff of a man standing outside?"
Penny who was a step down from where Donald stood, looked up. "Yes, he's standing outside." She said but before Donald could ask or do anything she spoke again. "He's leaving now, going across the street."
Donald breathed a sigh of relief. What had that man wanted? It didn't seem like the man was just going the same way, it seemed that he was following him. "Thank you, Penny."
