He tried so hard not to let the hot tears spill from his eyes but they forced themselves out. He didn't make a sound. He stared at the images he'd drawn earlier and decided he didn't want to do anything. He felt nothing at all at the moment. His heart wasn't beating and he wasn't thinking. He just sat there like a statue and cried.

Planes flew over the house.

Car's drove by the quiet street.

He remained there in complete silence. He felt sick to his stomach. Least he felt something. He peered out the window and rubbed his right cheek.

"Don't be such a baby," A poster of his hero told him. "Why don't you go outside, it's a nice day?"

"I would if I had someone to go with...." He mumbled.

"You used to just go out there by yourself. Since when did you start relying on others?" His stuffed pig oinked.

He shrugged.

"Go grab your ball and get out there." His hero coached.

He shook his head. He didn't want to move from where he was. He was better off just breathing slowly. He traced an image of a heart on the left side of his chest and shut his eyes. He started to sing a song from Toy Story 2. He felt it went with his mood, "Through the summer and the fall, we had each other that was all..."

The bedroom door opened.

He looked at the man.

The man simply nodded at him.

He whispered, his voice shaking, "I miss her."

"I know," The man said quietly. "I'm going to see the agency. I don't care if their closed."

His tears slide down his cheeks but he smiled.

The man kissed his forehead and told him, "If you'd just said something then you wouldn't be in this mess."

He cried. He wanted to confess it all.

The man looked him in the eye and said, "I know everything."

He sat there speakless.

The man left the room, shutting the door behind him.

He remained as still as a statue. Not only was he in shock, his heart had suddenly shattered. He didn't know who to turn to now. He clenched his fists and screamed as his tears bled from his eyes, "Why!?"
