Discussion of "Cry-baby Bridge : The Curse" by Psycho1_77

Hey Psycho. Well, I've done a little research about our urban legends. It's not a big deal but we might be mixing two stories together. Cry Baby Bridge and the Children of San Antonio. Apparently a baby died on a bridge and you can hear the baby cry at night when you stop there. The San Antonio story is the bus stopping on railroad tracks and getting hit by the train. I'm sure someone is going to call us on it. Maybe we could say we didn't want to infringe on someone elses copyright. LOL I'm waiting to see where you go with this one. It's got a lot of possibilities.

Well, where I'm from in Ohio, crybaby bridge is exactly as I described it in the story... as the legend goes. There are quite a few variations from state to state, though. There are a million legends for every little province around the country... in my hometown, we also have crybaby crossing... as the story goes, a little deaf boy was playing on the railroad tracks and if you pull up there at night, you can hear a distorted child's voice making a train whistle and then screaming... I am actually considering doind a whole series based on different legends I've heard over the years...

You are so right regarding these legends being similar to each other. Found a number of variations the Cry Baby story. Oh well, we're writers, we should be able to take a little artistic license, right? LOL The series idea sounds like something that could really be interesting to take on. Best of luck with that.

Thank you... I was thinking about just pumping out a whole series of starting chapters and see how many get continued by other writers on here... who knows? I don't have any solid plans yet...

Great chapter Psycho, I'm a huge scary B-movie fan so reading this has been really fun:) BTW every Saturday on Sci-Fi it's just terrible scary movies all day... I love it! I'm looking forward to where you guys take this next!
