Hi Psycho, I just wanted to let you know you're not alone. The same thing happens to me anytime I'm in the top 3. It sucks, this site should be about words not points right? If you don't like the comments someone made, let them know, maybe a helpful discussion could ensue. But voting someone down with out explaination is kinda petty and defeats the whole purpose. I'm not in it for the money either, but it does get dishartening, no?

It certainly does. I honestly wish they would come up with a different ranking system. The idea of having to leave a comment to vote is sounding better all the time, but then people would just say something stupid so that they could down vote a story. I know that my work isn't the best on here, but I also know that it's not so bad as to justify dropping half a star at a time. It's petty and childish. The sad fact is, though, the people doing the down-voting are probably not even in the running to win, so they just want to see others fail as well.

Well, I guess that case is cracked...

I just want to know how many people got screwed by the dumbass. I've been searching for comments by her/him/it and it seems to me like everyone involved with the Toby/Wright Mash was locked in on. All I know is that every single one of my chapters was hit in the past 2 days. It's pathetic, really, because I haven't seen anyone new slip into the top ten as far as the contest goes...

I was wondering that too, how many people got voted down, but didn't have the pleasure of a comment.

Yeah... the only one of mine that can't really be affected is In a Nuts Hell 1... or they know it's not elligable, so they leave it alone... losers...
