The little man had the answer! He thought and thought.

"I know!" he shouted with glee...

He got some paint and some Bristol board and made a sign.

He carried the sign over many many miles and, panting, went back for the hammer and nails he forgot.

Once he had the nails and hammer and signe, he nailed it on the only tree in the neighborhood. it read:
