I seem to have not been in the right frame of mind (spirit?) even though I thought I had a clear line of sight. Missed the mark and hit the pall, I guess. Ooh, I'm gonna pay for that one.

Anyway, I think the thoughts came too fast for me to write and hence the journal-ish outline. I, as I often do in a rush, see the details in my head and apparently seem to think others will see them, too, when they read ;o)

So, as a foray into where I wanted to go, I think there are a few places I came close. I think the idea is good - and it all started with me wondering about why churches have been so "against" drums. What little wit and charm I may have is all too non-apparent, I agree. I think I may have been too close to the reverential aspects and softened the blows for that reason. Which I shouldn't. I think it's high time that the absurdities of old dead religion be dispensed with and some true meaning and life be brought back into churches.

So, I've learned from this one and Thank You Nash for your from-the-heart comments!

O' course, the Cap'n's name is homophonic (O'Shen = ocean) and the First Mate's last name be Greek for ocean. Arrrr!
