The story so far:
For children who have lost their mothers, I feel my heart crack.
They will grow up without ever again feeling the healing warmth that only a mother can
bring.
For children who have lost their fathers, I want to hold them close and shut out their pain.
They will grow up without the guidance and wisdom that fathers are so wonderfully known
for giving.
For those who have lost a sibling, I feel tears spill from my eyes.
They will grow up without the joy of sharing family moments and helping each other through
life's ups and downs.
For those who have lost a spouse, I feel the crack in my heart spread.
They are forced to live with the reality that all they have left of their love are memories.
For those who have lost a friend, I sigh quietly in the darkness of my room.
They will never again meet anyone with the same unique qualities of their beloved pal.
