Circus Pandemonium: The Crow’s Flight. [Year 3]  by Nightken

                                      Year 3

The trip to Sunlock Port begins!

We began our trip to Sunlock Port not even before we get out of town we have a couple of green backs following us, so not to act suspicious I acted like they weren’t there, until I was about to leave town they stopped me saying that I’m a suspicious looking person. “Well I did almost get eaten by a giant sandworm so it’s understandable that my stuff is dusty.” Nightken replied. They said that I can’t leave now until I answer some questions first of they asked how did I kill the worm so I told them “I lured it to a cliff and jumped out of the way when it charged at me and that Nightken yelled at it for making me spend more time in the desert” Nightken said. After all that, they finally let me leave the town. After they were out of hearing distance I started to talk to myself I was saying “Damn greenbacks their lucky I didn’t need to kill them. I’m coming for you commander you’ll pay for what you did to the Blackwing name you’ll pay with your life you bastard” Nightken whispered angrily. After walking for a while, I let venom out to get some exercise and keep me company as we walked venom and I started talking at first he was grateful that I put him in my bag to save his life from the worm and he said that he would travel and help me when I need it. I’m now twenty years old it’s hard to believe it’s been two years since the massacre happened, but apparently while I was lost in thought I was already coming up on a town  venom told me and I snapped out of it and put him back in the bag so we don’t get in trouble here. I went to the bar to ask the Barkeep how far from Sunlock Port am I. He told me that I got another three days before I get there.

The way I figured it since I got five days I might as well stay the night here and Nightken asked around for KEARF* and to my surprise, many of the people answered. I sat down at a table with what I could tell was an escape artist I introduced my self as The Crow. He asked why I couldn’t tell him my real name I had to tell him “If I tell you my name I would have to kill you all I can say is I’m a survivor of the Blackwing massacre” Nightken said. Nightken asked for his name, he told me his name was Houdini. “Houdini the escape artist… huh. I think I’ve heard of you.” Nightken said.

I decided to ask him a question “Do you know anyone from the Whitewing family? If you do tell me who and where they are.” Nightken asked. “Are they a rival family?” Houdini asked.  “You don’t know the half of it. The Blackwing massacre was caused by those bastards and they will pay for what they did I don’t care if I have to do it myself” Nightken said. “Ok I’ll tell you what I know Nightken Blackwing survivor of the Blackwing massacre, survivor of the very massacre that happened a little over two years ago.” Houdini said. “How the hell do you know me Houdini?” Nightken asked. “Simple I’ve been following you since you left the remains of your old home and buried your family and by the way I’m sorry for your loss if it’s of any consolation I lost my family the same way as you to that DEMON commander” Houdini said. “Come with me to Sunlock Port, the commander should be there that’s if your man enough to face the demons of your past.” Nightken said. “You had me at the commander is at Sunlock Port” Houdini said. This is going to make things a lot more interesting two is better than one let’s see how you can handle us now commander the ghosts of your past, but I’ll be the one to kill you and the Whitewing family and that’s not a promise it’s a vow that’ll happen when you least expect it.
