Destiny
by NeonNinjaKiller
Layla, a girl around 17, was lying in bed late one night trying to make sense of her reoccurring dream. She’s been having this dream for 2 weeks straight but she doesn’t know why. She doesn’t even know who the people in it are. There is a girl in it, with long pink and blonde hair. She has purple eyes that sparkle when she smiles. There are three guys in the dream too. A tall blonde one with blue eyes, a brown headed one that has an aura of sadness around him all the time and a black haired one. She can’t help but feel drawn to the black hair one. His dark eyes look cold but inviting at the same time. The way his silky hair frames around his angelic face captivates her to an extent that she can’t look away.
In the dream the girl with purple eyes is sitting in the blond guys lap and she’s crying, but she looks happy. The blond guy is holding her, he looked happy too. The brown haired guy is smiling but it looks forced. The guy with black hair, I think his name is Dayton, looks like he is going to explode. Layla is almost positive she’s never met this people before, yet she feels a connection to each of them. There’s something else that’s strange about this dream though. All them have on a similar necklace. The shape of it is the same on all of them but the color is different. Layla has this same necklace but its light blue. The only other person she knows who has a necklace like hers is Mika, her best friend.
She started living with Mika and her Dad two months ago. Mika’s dad was usually off in another country, he’s the owner of a major business, so they rarely see him. Layla’s own parents had died in a car crash. She was in the car with them when the truck hit them but her seat belt wasn’t on, so she got thrown out the window. Luckily for her she only ended up with a few scratches on her body but she did hit her head causing her to have long-term memory lost. Her parents however, were trapped in the car while it caught on fire.
With no relatives willing to take her in, Mika and her Dad welcomed her with open arms and treated her like part of the family. They never talk about the accident nor do they talk about Layla’s parents. Although she has asked about them before but they refuse to tell her. She is very grateful to them for all that they have done for her, yet she feels like there something that their not telling her. But how is she suppose to confront the people who took her in when she had no place else to go?
Layla even questions how Mika and she became friends. They don’t have anything in common, look wise or personality. Mika is kind of tall with brown eyes and platinum blonde hair. She likes to make her opinions known and is very outgoing. She is not the kind of person you want to pick a fight with. Layla on the other hand, has long black hair and dark green eyes. She is also short and not near as outgoing as Mika.
Layla sighed to her self and closed her eyes, she’ll try to make sense of it in the morning.
