I've looked over the site for any information pertaining to fees or counter-payments which we may have to encounter in order to receive payment for our work. After turning up nothing, I was hoping you could help me fill in the blanks.

Authors on StoryMash get paid periodically from advertisement revenues and for their stories' success.

My question is: {How does StoryMash make enough of a profit to sustain the site and still pay the authors?}

Is there any "fine print" that I am missing? Will I receive any surprise charges or involuntary subscriptions in the mail (virtual or paper) if I supply the necessary information to receive payment by check?

I do hope someone can help me fill in these gaps. Please, let me know if there is something I may have missed reading that would tell me whether or not I am to expect any "adverse payments" after signing up for payment.
