Poem  by Marykm

How can you stand there

Knowing my eyes are on you

You just wait for me to speak

Something I couldn't ever do

I want you to feel the same way that I do

I want you to really understand

I need you to fully live my life

I need you to take my hand

Guide me through the hardest times

Strut with me through the best

I know that we could be living the life

We'd love our everlasting quest

Still you're there

No glances my way

So I'm still here

Dreaming for that day

And it'll never work, never

'We' will never be

Because neither of us has the courage

To try and fail, which is the key
