They've gotten some color in these summer months.  There's a faint white line across my left hand's ring finger, where my wedding band and engagement ring hang out most of the time, unless I'm in bed, just waking up, or on the beach.

If I spread my fingers apart, I can see bright white skin in the "webs" between my fingers, where the sun can't reach.  

There's a purple mark on my left hand's thumb where the Sharpie grazed it earlier this morning.

They're just hands.  Nothing special, nothing extraordinary.  But I have to say that I wouldn't want to be without them.
