What are the children rank and the descendant rank?

The "Children Rank" is the average ranking and total number of votes for the immediate children of a specific chapter. The "Descendant Rank" is the same, but for all sibling chapters. These stats can eventually help guide readers to pick the strongest next chapter, but they can also be safely ignored, especially since the descendant rank is not fully implemented yet, and there are no extremely "bushy" Story Trees yet.

I have been noticing this on my stories. I would like to know how the last two Items are determined? The children's rank and what is decendant rank?

If you are asking how come some people get more visitors than others I have my on opinion on that. I think that is mainly because there are mashers that take their time to work together and develop stories. Also there are those that interact with many others in the site so they get known and so drive more people to their stories. Then there are those (I'm talking about myself) that don't have a lot of time to make friends (I wish I did) and work with others because of work, school, or maybe shyness.

I hope you write the next installment soon. I am patiently waiting to see what comes next.
