“…Chaotically tranquil, this life. This life.
I dream like I were to live forever.
I came across to thinking… If all these “life living”
were a scripted stage never to change pace,
what on earth am I to do in this conspired paradox.?
The world is my stage, a pity it is badly cast.
If the generation of living life safe and cherished died,
I sure had a hell of a time at the wake.!
Screw it.! No one’s gonna come out alive anyways.”
Hello, Crow’s Sanctuary. Where packs of American dreamers get themselves settled in hope of an ordinary yet stirring life. Only a rough portion of that entirety lives up to the reverie. The rest of the trance are silenced and forgotten. I am one of the former. I’ve always wanted to be whom the bright lights burn for and that’s why I’ve always lived in Crow’s Sanctuary all throughout the 17 years I spent living…living.? Yes, lifelessly breathing. Always.
I’m dying to see the most wonderful autumn Crow’s Sanctuary will ever witness!
The frantic sensation, ever the repetend clandestine town. Yes, this is Crow’s Sanctuary. It’s a small quiet town populated by old-fashioned commoners. It’s fairly crazy, this neighborhood with its boring routines and stereotypical ways. There happens to be a small gap between crazy and insane, and it goes by the name of –
“Evan Christopher Angel.! You’re going to be late for school!” Evan felt an abruptly sharp hit on the head as Loius continued, “It’s our first day in school and you’re going to get us detention”
Oh F*ck.! I completely lost track of the time.! Not that I was planning to ever keep track, and I don’t plan to start. Always with the “first days give out your impressions for the rest of the school year” crap. I’m not slacking; I simply don’t give a damn.
“Lou, it’s not like we’re vying for the “first-one-in-school” award or anything. Well, if you ARE, I’m totally behind you, buddy….50 kilometers way behind you.”
“Har har, we both know that we’ll make a scene if we’re late again. I don’t want to spend our first day as the reputed late comers!” Ahhh, that “first day = big deal” thing. Told you it would have come up.
“But if I WERE to run for the award, I would like to thank the academy, mom who was always there for me, and well, definitely not you, dude” The voice drifted faintly up from below.
Evan ran the comb once more through weighing lush of dirty blond hair. He went lugging for his backpack through the messy room and went down the stairs.
Heavy steps raced to the threshold of the doorstep where an average-heighted youth with dark auburn silky hair, and an innocent face masked by a pair of heavy spectacles covering his deep set brown eyes waited impatiently.
Ah, my buddy, Louis Simpson, wearing his black Sergio Valente jeans I bought him when I was in France. Oh, how I love this man as my brother! I am amused to see him standing there, looking awkwardly puzzled with my ghastly stares as though I am roasting him by my mind. [Well, not exactly] I’m just delighted that HE is my bestfriend, my comrade for years who accepted me for who I already am and despite what I also am; a sexy monster. Well, he tends to be drawn to monsters.
“Looking sharp, mon frère, fear not for ‘tis ok now! I am here!” Evan said with a silly smirk of humor. They know each other more than anyone that they even have their own twisted little humor with the slightest hints of funny.
“Tis-th funny-eth how-eth thou talksth with-th the accent-th of an-th ****-th and the gestures-th of a male-th virgin-th!” Loius giggled.
“Are you being Old English or have you gone lisp for the few moments I’ve gone off to France?” Evan asked sarcastically.
“JOUST!”
The first sounding of the bell in Cameron High was as spine tingling as it was 3 months ago when it was last heard. It went on for a near 3 minutes straight and still before the cool, crisp Victorian course of Mercy Street in autumn were two careless boys more interested at how the leaves were gracefully descending from the old quince tree’s branches to the tune of Lady Gaga’s Pokerface than to arrive on school.
“Hurry up, Evan, man are we late!” Louis fronted as he spoke hastily. Before he could continue a familiarly unwanted stench effortlessly shoved us both.
“Senior year and you slackers are late.” Edward smirked, “You’re so predictable and for that Vaughn over here owes me 10 bucks.”
“Nonsense. I see Senior year taught you to tell time. And for that I owe Evan over here 20 bucks.!” Louis mocked the then blushing Edward.
Louis was a reasonably patient man, pessimistically witty and ethical. He would not have confronted the great grandson of Victor Crow, Edward, if he wasn’t being an ****.
