Fur-Babies (5): Sweet Names  by JD_Renaissance
When my husband and I first thought of getting a dog, one name seemed to come to mind and stay there. We were watching a cartoon movie involving a sloth when the name first struck us. There’s a part of this movie where the sloth gets into some trouble with his own kind and they intend to throw him into a volcano. One of his arguments to not be thrown in the volcano was that it would bring a thousand years bad juju on the small tribe. And thus, we knew that we wanted to name our first addition to the family JuJu. A couple of weeks later, we found her and she was by far worthy of the name. Now, whenever our eldest is bad, we can simply yell out, “Bad JuJu!” If it doesn’t make us laugh, then something is terribly wrong. However, her name isn’t just JuJu. It’s JuJu Bees. Yes, we named our dog after candy. Which brings me to our name selection for our youngest. Since I named JuJu, my husband got to name Boston. Keeping with the candy theme, he took one look at her black and red puppy fuzz and deemed her a Boston Baked Beans, Bobo for short.
