Fur-Babies (12): Coffee Fiends

I blame my mom for my dogs’ coffee addiction. It isn’t just any coffee either. It has to be two thirds semi strong breakfast blend with a few scoops of dry creamer and then the rest English toffee flavored liquid creamer. They’ll settle for my version, which replaces the dry creamer with milk and has only about half the liquid English toffee stuff. But they really do only settle with mine, mom’s being the best. My mom gives them the good stuff, the ooey, gooey, yummy, creamy, dreamy stuff, every morning. It used to be that she would only give her girls leftover coffee, what got left in the cup the day before when she realized she had had enough. When we came to stay here, my fur-babies decided they’d rather not be left out of such a tasty treat as Mom's coffee. Now, every morning, like clockwork, all four dogs stare up at my mom and each give their own version of “I wanna” and “Puleeeeeeeezz” coupled with puppy dog eyes.
