Well, returning to the State of Serious now, I'll talk a little about what I'm doing; currently writing a couple of sword-and-sorceryish short stories called The Sequences of Human Hunter Demnok (or The Details of our Ending cycle), and an odd novel of sorts called "Dmitry's Thanatour"- a work that is my shot at a dark fiction, genre-bridging epic. Good stuff; the problem is sitting down and writing more than 100+ words a day. XD

Hope to be getting published within the next three years here, though I know its a difficult process. Plus the manuscripts themselves need to be finished....

Anyway, I love this site and I'm glad to meet all of you. :)

As I've said, for now this contest is very freeform. You may choose to continue the themes from a previous poem, or do something completely different. This ensures we get a wide variety of material which can appeal to as many different readers as possible.

Didn't one of honeygloom's chapters get fifty something votes? Or was that sixth place one...lol.

Not really, though it may be necessary to establish one later on. We'll see what happens. I'd prefer one submission per person though.
