The 2^nd period assembly couldn’t come sooner 1^st period AP English wasn’t lecturing enough. Mrs. Gate was putting me to sleep she was short and had a Chinese accent to go with it. While she was writing some equation on the board the lady on the speaker reminded us of the assembly she stop what she was doing and ordered us in a line and we headed to the auditorium. Standing in line Julie texted me “Where you at?’’  by chance her phone was on vibrate and Mrs. Gate had just walked passed, Whitney texted her back “I’m tryna 2 slip way“Whitney waited at the right moment she knew Mrs. Gate would be watching but when she turned her back Whitney ran inside the bathrooms. Julie texted her again Whitney knew that the teachers here are so quick to call someone out if they knew you weren’t apart of the class. I texted Julie “I don’t see u?” The auditorium was packed students talking, teacher’s talking, and the principal trying to fix the mic. I heard someone call out Whitney! But it was Karen waving to me that Julie was over there. Whitney made her way through the aisle filled with backpacks and chairs. Finally “didn’t you see me call you?” I thought Karen was Mrs. Gate “quick duck!” Julie said Whitney pretended to tie her shoe while Julie’s teacher counted the students before the assembly started. At last the lights went dim and Whitney straighten back up soon the voices began to clam down until principal Sheffield said “good morning” all the students hollered and clapped alright that’s the spirit each period has a assembly and 2^nd period as you can see its filled with juniors. But I just want to go over a few things it’s important that you all learn this year come to a decision on who and what you want to be in life. Julie whispered to me “do we really have go through this” would you listen you might learn something. You’re such a school girl “shush!” Whitney said. Whitney ears picked backup what principal Sheffield continued to say . It’s very important that you make this count so I want every body to meet with your counselors, talk to your teachers, talk to staff and come see me if its necessary. We all know homecoming is now eligible for all you juniors, voices raised up everyone clapped “somehow I knew that was coming” principal Sheffield said. Well we have a great committee and I have no doubt it should be a great event. As principal Sheffield went on Whitney made her eyes towards Keith there he was laughing with his friends his smile was so cute(how could I see it, it was dark but still cute) he look better this year than last year. But that Suzanna Thompson looked the same as always stiff and fake as hell. I don’t know what happen? She and I used to be friends when we were little but of course she became miss goody too shoes when her step-father bought her and her gold digging mother. She became an entirely different person she moved out of the neighborhood. Whitney guess was good as anybody why did she come to Mackey Mountain high school? She could have gone to a far boarding school,  and I mean very far away from me. Keith would be all mine I would be sitting where she is I just want to go over there and say b--- please. But my guess is she wanted Keith just as much, we both knew we had crush on him. I guess she couldn’t stand the thought of him and me being together even if there were a chance. Any girl that tries to get close to him Suzanna always there she has people watch for her even when she not around. Especially her evil twin Taylor Bogart she just starts crap she just pulls s--- out of thin air and gets Suzanna all fired up over the littlest things just over the Summer when Keith asked a girl to a stupid house party it wasn’t like he was going to go with her and plus the chick didn’t know about Suzanna. But Suzanna sent out a hit and Taylor was the one to do it. Being that the girl didn’t know Suzanna, Taylor pretended to be the girl’s friend and talking on Keith’s behalf. Did you know that Taylor set her up to meet at smelly fishing dock. Supposedly Keith said he worked their over the summer and they could get to know each other more. She showed up but little did she know who was really waiting for her with a bucket filled with God knows what. Let’s just say she smelt like fish so bad that she didn’t show for to the party I don't even think she attends this school!. Although they had a good laugh and Suzanna ended up going to the party with Keith (who would have guessed?) Taylor does all of Suzanna dirty work. I don’t if happen like that but rumors get mixed up but it’s crazy how far she’d go over Keith. “Whitney snap out of it!” Julie said assembly over the lights came back on and the students were getting up and of course teachers telling students to sit back down. “Whitney you ok?” Julie kept asking “yup I’m fine” it looks like you were day dreaming? Julie pointed in Keith’s direction. “I was not!” said Whitney I saw you girl don’t act dumb with me. I saw your dreamy eyes but then all of a sudden I saw your eyes start to twitch but then it back to normal Julie said while laughing “I saw it too” Karen said. Shut up the both of you! “What is about him?” Julie and Karen both asked “nothing” Whitney said awkwardly, doesn’t look like nothing. Whitney stayed in Julie’s line to they were outside “I have to go back to class and get my back pack” Whitney told Julie Mrs. Gate makes us leave it. Oh that sucks that lady couldn’t make me leave my backpack unattended wanna walk to class? I have AP remember I’ll see you later then. When Whitney saw her class “Julie I’ll catch you later” Whitney walked faster so she I could back in line before Mrs. Gate saw her. But that women called out Whitney so fast before she could step in line “excuse me! Excuse me! Why aren’t you line?” Said Mrs. Gate some of class mates made ooh sounds Whitney couldn’t think of anything I-I-I was tying my shoes and when I saw the line over here that’s when I try to get back in line. Whitney couldn’t believe she thought of that herself she knows she usually crack’s under pressure. On top of that how could Mrs. Gate prove it? Some guys in the class were being jerks calling me a liar so she moved me to the front. Honestly Whitney thought was it necessary? We returned to class Whitney grab her back pack and put the papers in and waited for the bell to ring.
