So good - so clever. Wish I hadn't read this before trying to tackle my own word...hard act to follow.

Alright - comments suggest it would be fun to mash - so someone mash!

Great title - there are so many stories posted that I always skim for catchy titles (I'm not on here as often as I'd like to be). Your title grabbed my attention and following 'rant' was engaging.

Agree with all the comments. It felt like a very personal piece and it was really wonderful to be allowed in to read it.

Very much enjoyed this Rian - and completely agree that sometimes Storymash becomes a place where you can just unleash your raw thoughts...sure there were little things here and there but the essence of the story came through and sometimes the process of refinement quiets the soul of the story.

What about starting with a chapter from a well-known story? Start with the first chapter from Cinderella or Catcher in the Rye or something? And then see what new directions people can take it in?

I will read tomorrow! I also have a new story - and being someone who focuses on different interpretations for a living I love seeing how other people interpret and would continue my story so please mash! Title: RedBaron24

Great concept - I would love a word!
Also - I love the mashing part of storymash and feel like it isn't done enough so please add on to my story RedBaron24.

Personally I quite enjoyed it. I think the "chopping and distracting" writing style helps the reader to feel what the character must be feeling.
