A word for Dark Icon?

I like this one. After I posted the original chapter I had some vague ideas of how I might continue it, and most of them fall in line with what you did here. You did a great job of keeping the tone of the story while adding your own narrative. Great job. Instead of continuing with my own second chapter, I'll probably just continue THIS one. :)

So what does everybody else think?

I've begun a new horror story called "The Longest Night". Chapter One is entitled "Awake". My intention is for other people to write successive chapters if they want. I may write additional chapters myself if people show enough interest.

There really should be a way to fetch a list of new chapters on the main page (hint, hint). Until then, I've added a chapter to "Clietus Joins the Navy." Short but fun.

I'm new here, but not new to writing. I got my start doing collaborative shared-world fantasy fiction. I've been doing mostly solo work since then. I was thinking about getting back into the collaborative stuff... then I found this place. I'm looking forward to writing with some of you.
