The story so far:

"Julia"

Angela  by CeeCee

Angela sat on the edge of her bathtub staring at the timer she had set just four minutes ago. She tapped her feet impatiently on the cold checkered floor, and ran her hands through her long blonde hair. She couldn't remember the last time she felt this nervous.

BUZZZZZZ The timer went off causing Angela to jump. She tried to tame the butterflies that floated around in her stomach as she grabbed the pregnancy test that sat on her bathroom sink. She said a silent prayer before looking at the test which displayed two pink lines.

She looked at the back of the pregnancy test box to confirm what she already knew.

"I can't be pregnant." She said throwing the pregnancy test in the trash.

Her phone rang disturbing her from her thoughts.

"Hello?" She answered hoping it was her boyfriend. She needed to hear his soothing voice in order to calm her nerves.

"Hey baby." Her boyfriend said causing her heart to melt. They had been together for a year and a half and to this day he still had the same affect on her.

"Hey...how are you?" She asked.

"Are you okay?" He asked in a concerned tone.

She paused for a moment debating on whether or not she should deliver the news over the phone. They had never discussed having children, so she wasn't sure how he would take it.

"We need to talk." She said.

"About what? I can come over after work if you want." He said.

That's what she liked about him, if he ever sensed that something was wrong he would come to her asap. He was always there for her, and she loved him for that.

"Yes...I will see you when you get here." She said.

"Okay...I love you." He said before hanging up.

Angela put her phone back in it's reciever, and let out a sigh of relief. After talking to her boyfriend she felt okay, she knew that he would be there for her no matter what, and maybe he would be happy about the baby.

Angela was more worried about herself than anything. At twenty one she couldn't imagine being a mother. Abortion wasn't an option, so she knew she would have to prepare herself to raise a child.

She layed across her king size bed and imagined what it would be like to be a mother. The thought of raising a child amazed her, and at the same time frightened her.

***********************************************

Angela heard keys turning in her front door, and jumped up to open the door.

"Hey baby!" She said jumping on her boyfriend and wrapping her legs around him.

"So what's wrong?" He asked while kissing her cheek and carrying her over to the couch.

She positioned herself in indian style on the couch, and looked him in his deep brown eyes.

"I'm pregnant." She said in a calm tone.

Angela searched his face for a clue as to what he was thinking. A big smile appeared across his face, causing Angela's heart to flutter.

"Your happy about this?" She asked.

"Very." He said planting kisses all over her cheek. "You know julz can't have children and this is something I've always wanted."

"What if she founds out?" She asked with a weary look on her face.

"Don't you worry about that. You just need to worry about the baby and staying healthy." He assured her.

"Okay." She agreed although she still worried about it.

Angela's boyfriend was alot older than her, and she put alot of trust into the decisions he made. She always felt that he had her best intrest at heart, and would never hurt her.

"So I think it's time you met my parents." She said at random.

"Really?" He quizzed. "You think they will accpet me given my age?"

"They have no choice." She said. "Soon I will be having their first grandchild."

"Okay." He said.

"I sat up for us all to have dinner at Shuellers tomorrow evening at eight." She said.

"I will be there." He said before kissing her. "I have to go I will call you a little bit later."

She watched the man she love walk out her front door, anticipating his next arrival.
