John and Sam were already in the garden. That’s where I got married. In a beautiful garden. Full of flowers. I love flowers. Especially lilies and roses. I love the bright ones. They are absolutely fabulous! There are always flowers in the house. Anyway Becca is my maid of honor so she stayed with me. Chris kept the rings, so he had to go to his seat. Robin was my bride’s maid so she also stayed with me. And Jake was giving me away. I know I know. Usually that’s the dad’s job. But my dad was…well…Let’s just say that his leg was in really bad shape. My sisters, Tamara and Tessa, were there. My 3 brothers were also there. Sky, Kevin and Sam. My mother and a few other friends like Ben, Adrian and George. Of course Sam’s family was also there. His mom and dad, his beautiful two sisters, and a couple of other friends. “Are you ready?” Chris asked interrupting my thoughts. “Yes…” I said not exactly sure for what…Oh yes! Oops…guess I forgot to tell you that I forget things quite a bit…but not for very long periods of time…it always comes back to me. “Yes I’m ready.” I said with a lot more confidence. The music started. Becca walked first. Then slowly Chris and I started walking down the aisle, Robin behind us. I knew exactly how the aisle was going to look but it still took my breath away. There was a beautiful red carpet and along the chairs there were vines of flowers. The arch was also weaved with flowers. It wasn’t too much, it wasn’t too little. It was absolutely fantastic! And there he was. Sam. Of all people, Sam. I giggled to myself. I really never thought I was ever going to marry him. Chris interrupted my thoughts again by kissing me on the cheek and giving my hand to Sam. That was when it happened. Something that took everything away from me. Everything.
