Third Week of September 65 Million Years Ago...

The Dinosaur's have been living on planet earth for around 165 million years, 65 million years before humans were first walking on earth. The skies were clear, no sign of danger, no out of the ordinary situations, no harm. Late in the afternoon, what was thought to be a falling star, was hurdling its way toward earth at unimaginable speeds. The dinosaur's sensed the fear of danger, and started running in all directions. The sky became bright red with the intense heat that the item in the sky was putting of as it came closer to earth. Soon enough, it crashed into the earth. The crash was so intense that the planet erupted in flames. The flames engulfed everything in the world. Plants were burned to a crisp, dinosaurs were obliterated, and the worse, the worse thing happened. A chunk the size of our moon, sheared away from our planet. The size of the explosion, created our known moon.

Status report?

All systems are green. The Co2 scrubbers are a little weak today, but Chonard is working on them right now.  Our food supplies are at peak performance and the oxygen plants are providing enough oxygen for the next three months.

That is good, the last thing we need are problems out here. Does the base on the moon know that we are here?

Yes, they are actually surprised; we are five hours ahead of schedule. The ship was performing faster as we approached nothing to worry about.

As preparations were getting underway for the dispatch to the surface, Security officer Name was going over report files that were sent up from the moon base. Reports were showing that a strong magnetic force was occurring. More information suggests that the source of the energy was being created deep inside the moon. As he thought about this, he took down some notes that he would share with the captain. He wasn’t sure what to make of this. He decided to go and get some breakfast. He was assigned to go with the captain to the surface to protect him from the protestors. The protestors that were on the surface were a few of the first colonies that were established. They believed that the mining on the moon was too dangerous. They say that for the lack of the moon having no core, that the moon has no stabability to it and that we can alter it and shatter the moon to pieces.
