One day it started to rain, and it rained all day and night without stopping. Noah told his wife, "It has begun! The great flood has begun! We must get into the ark, quickly!" Noah and his wife went into the ark,and waited. It rained for another week,without stopping. puddles of water formed around the ark, and soon the puddles merged until they formed one great continuous lake. Noah told his wife that God's message said that the rain would continue for forty days, and  forty nights, and the entire Earth would be flooded. All the sinners on Earth would be drowned beneath the flood waters. No sinner shall live.

Noah's wife was scared, but she did not cry out. She remained silent in the ark with her husband. The only sound was the sound of animals. Noah and his wife could hear the cows mooing, they could hear the pigs squealing, they could hear the lions and tigers growling. Then they heard someone banging on the side of the ark. "Hey, let me in! Let me in! This rain is so bad, I'm going to drown! This rain storm we're having isn't fit for man nor beast! Let me in!" Noah's wife said, "Let the poor man in! He's drowning!" Noah said, "No! We must not let anybody in! They are sinners! We cannot let sinners into the ark!"

Soon a crowd of people were found swimming around the ark. They were all shouting at Noah. "Let us in!", they screamed. Noah would not let them in. One man hit the side of the ark with his fist, and shouted, "Let me in,Noah! I'm going to drown! I can't swim much longer!" Noah did not let him in. Another man picked up a piece of wood that was floating in the water, and he hit the side of the ark with it. He shouled, "Noah! Open up this ark and let me in! If you don't me in, I'm going to kill you!" Noah opened a small window and stuck his head out, and shouted, "No, I cannot let you in! You are all sinners! God told me that I cannot let you into the ark! I will pray for you,but I cannot let you in!" The people swimming around the ark all shouted insults and threats at Noah, but Noah did not let them in. One man shouted, "Noah, if you don't let me into the ark, I'm going to rip your eyeballs out!" Another man screamed, "Noah, if you don't let me in to the ark, I'm going to tear your guts out! Let me in! I'm drowning, you bastard!" Noah heard them, but he did not let them in. After a few hours all the men swimming around the ark had drowned. After forty days and forty nights, the rain ended, and the ark floated silently on the ocean.
