The story so far:
While Moses was explaining the Ten Commandments, a man stepped forward and said his name was Priapus. He said he wanted to ask Moses a question about the Ten Commandments. Moses said,"Yes, of course, what do you want to ask?" Priapus said, "I would like to know about aphrodesiacs. Does the Ten Commandments make it forbidden to use aphrodesiacs?" Moses asked what an aphrodesiac was. Priapus said, "An aphrodesiac is a drug that increases sedual potency. It can help men who are old. If an old man takes an aphrodesiac, he can regain the sexual potency that he had when he was young, at least for a few hours. There is a certain species of flies found in Spain, and alchemists grind them up into a powder, they call it 'Spanish Fly'. When you eat a little bit of this Spanish Fly powder, your sexual abilities will be increased for several hours."
Moses frowned at this. He said,"The ninth commandment is clear. The ninth commandment says that thou shalt not get a sex-change operation or any other treatment that alters the sexual characteristics of the body". Priapus said, "But, I'm not talking about an operation that alters the body. Spanish fly is a drug, not an operation". Moses was firm. He said,"I interpret the ninth commandment as meaning that you should not use any means to alter the sexual sensitivity or vitality of the body, and that includes surgery, drugs. or any other means. The ninth commandment may also refer to any means used to enhance or alter the way the human body responds to sexual stimulation. Aphrodesiacs are, therefore, forbidden by the ninth commandment." Priapus was angered by this, and he left. "Moses is a fool, I don't know why you waste your time listening to him!" shouted Priapus as he walked off.
