The Americans had been working on an atomic bomb. They had built a secret laboratory in the desert in the state of New Mexico, and they had a group of scientists working on the bomb. They used uranium, and had built one bomb, which they tested in the desert. The explosion was huge. It created a ball of fire and smoke that was over a mile high. The crater that the bomb's explosion made was so huge, it was nearly a mile across. Obviously, if you put one of these bombs in an airplane and dropped it on a city, it would kill everyone in that city, it could kill millions. Although it was illegal under international law to kill civilians during warfare, and although the Americans often denounced the Germans as cowards who killed Jewish civilians in the concentration camps, the Americans immediately decided to use the atomic bomb to kill civilians.

The Americans wasted no time in putting an atomic bomb into an airplane and ordering the pilot and crew to drop the bomb on the Japanese city of Hiroshima. The pilot did as he was ordered, and the bomb was dropped. When the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, over a million people were killed in less than five seconds. Approximately one million more died in the weeks and months after the explosion, mostly due to radiation exposure. The American airplane that dropped the bomb was instantly vaporized in the explosion, and the five men inside it were killed. The American government made up a false story about it, their false story said that the men who dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima were alive and well, and they even instructed one man to travel around the world, so he could tell stories about his 'experience'. Of course it was all lies, he had never been near an atomic bomb in his life, but he did his duty, and traveled around giving speeches, signing autographs, and answering questions about Hiroshima.

After three days, the Americans dropped another atomic bomb on Japan, this one was dropped on the city of Nagasaki. Over a million people were killed in Nagasaki. The Americans tried to downplay the fact that civilians were killed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Official American propaganda said that only the Germans were cowardly enough to kill civilians during warfare. They acted as if the deaths of civilians in Hiroshima and Nagasaki was not an issue. On many occasions, Americans spoke about the cowardly Germans who were such cowards that they murdered little Jewish children in the concentration camps, while they ignored the fact that little Japanese children had been burned to death by atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Japan surrendered after the atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. Now the Americans began to boast that they had saved the world from Nazi Germany. The Russians viewed this new development with alarm, because the Americans were the only country in the world that had atomic bombs. The leader of the Russian army was angry. He shouted at the communists, and told them that Russia has to develop an atomic bomb as fast as possible. Russian scientists were told to drop whatever they were doing, and begin working on an atomic bomb immediately.

The Americans had dropped the first atomic bombs in 1945, and the Russians didn't develop their own atomic bomb until 1949. In 1949 the Russians built an atomic bomb and took it out to a desert in Central Asia and detonated it. The results were predictable, it made a ball of fire and smoke, over a mile high. The crater produced by this bomb was over a mile wide. If you dropped a bomb like that on New York, it would kill about five million people. So, between 1945 and 1949 the Americans were the only country in the world that had atomic bombs. They could go unchallenged, in the period between 1945 and 1949.

During this period, the Americans tried to consolidate their power on a global level by creating a world government. The world government had a name, it was called the United Nations. The first meetings of the United Nations were held in San Francisco, California in 1945. Meetings were only held there for a few months. The San Francisco meetings were held in secret. Few people knew that the United Nations existed. The headquarters of the United Nations was moved to New York city, and they established a permanent headquarters in New York city. Since New York had a large Jewish population, the Jews in New York tried to use the United Nations as a means of providing political power for the Jews. At the time, there was no state of Israel. In fact, Israel was only a British colony. It was a British colony called Palestine, the official currency was called the Palestinian pound, which was based on the British pound. 

The Jews in New York city demanded that Israel should be recognized as a Jewish state. Reluctantly, the United Nations listened. The United Nations was created to enforce American political power around the world, since America was the only country in the world that had atomic bombs. In theory, the entire world would now become an American dictatorship, since the United Nations could enforce it's rule all over the world, and the power of the American military (backed up with atomic bombs) would stand behind it. This theory worked until 1949, when the Russians developed their own atomic bomb. At that point the Russians could say, "You don't have to let the Americans rule the world! Join the Communist movement and the Russians will stand beind you! Russian communism provides an alternative to American world domination!"

The United Nations had a few Jews go to Palestine and declare independence. It was just a formality. It took about five minutes for the United Nations to grant official diplomatic recognition to Israel after Israel declared that they were independent from Britain. Israel declared that the shekel was the official currency of Israel. The Palestinian pound was out, the Israeli shekel was in! It was only a few days before several Arab states decleared war against Israel. Israel has been at war with it's Arab neighbors, off an on, ever since.
