The story so far:
After Jesus was crucified his dead body was taken away and laid to rest in a tomb. The crucifiction was on Friday, and three days later, on Sunday, Jesus rose from the dead. Jesus was seen walking around, talking to people, and Jesus was preaching the same message of faith that he had preached before he was crucified. One of the apostles, Thomas, saw him on the trail, and stopped to talk to him. Thomas was always a sceptic, he was the type of person who questioned everything he saw. He saw Jesus and asked, "Jesus, is that really you?" Jesus replied,"Yes, it is I, Thomas." Thomas still doubted that it was really Jesus, and so he asked Jesus to show him his hands. Thomas looked at the hands of Jesus and saw that his hands were marked with scars. The scars had been made when nails were driven through his hands. Thomas rejoiced, and shouted,"Jesus, it really is you! You are alive, You have risen from the dead!" For centuries afterwards, Thomas was known as 'the doubting Thomas'
Jesus appeared to fly into the sky, and go up to heaven. His followers said it was a miracle. When Jesus ascended into heaven, his followers said it was absolute proof of the divine nature of Jesus. Meanwhile, Judas plotted to kill the twelve apostles. He didn't want them around, he was afraid they might interfere with his plans. He actually managed to kill three of them before he was arrested. After Judas was arrested, he was put on trial for three counts of murder. He protested loudly, but to no avail, he was found guilty and sentenced to death. Judas was tied up to a cross, and left to hang there to die. It took more than 48 hours for Judas to die, but finally he died and his soul went down to Hell. When the soul of Judas arrived in Hell he was greeted by Satan. Satan laughed with joy, and said, "Well done, Judas my friend! Well done!"
