Ooh! Now it gets REALLY interesting! I love the twist... that the Maker is always around, in PERSON, and demonstrably available! I was wondering... why the change in tone, that is, the short, terse paragraphs? It's intriguing... I find myself wondering what has caused Michael to alter his journalling style? Anticipation? Anger? Hurriedness? Unconscious apprehension about being in the same city as the Maker? |

Glad you like it! As for the change in tone - I didn't realize it was there. |

You know what I just realized I really really like? Only now does someone casually drop the concept of the Maker being continually available... and we don't even know anything about the Maker yet. Recently I've been enjoying the way you gradually, minimally reveal details about a story's world or society. I know in the past I whined about it and insisted on way more description, but now I'm enjoying putting the puzzle pieces together, or just sitting back and being either gobsmacked or deliciously intrigued. It's not a hard puzzle. It's a fun one. |
