"I was able to fit the lumps within around the protruding bottles"

I think you meant one or the other but not both "within" and "around." :)

Absolutely loved the last line. Great job keeping the tone of the overall story. :D

LOL - looking again, what the sentence means is that he fit the lumps within the bag around the bottles... but I see how it wasn't clear. Fixed!

It is hilariously creative to see how well you guys are keeping this one-character story going. I love how the Crockpot has come alive in his mind. Aggie, you've done a great job keeping his MIT-geekish thought processes going, even better than I had envisioned when I first created this guy.

This is a great story line and your addition was delightful. I never thought a crockpot and a reference to Jung would end up working together in the same tale, but you did it!

Thank you both! And lol - yes, good ol' Jung; with all the Mother-centric elements in this piece, I couldn't help it. :)

Here you started dinner, and some times waiting can get boarding.

This guy is such a hoot. Makes you wonder how he can survive on his own if he has trouble heating up a can of soup... Definitely needs to find a good woman. Or a good crockpot...

Nice work.

LOL...another excellent piece of work, Aggie. I loved it. I love the storyline and the character but I'm sure dreading my turn on this one.

Shifting away from the main dish, centering on the ice cubes was perfectly executed and your usual superior word-smithing was evident throughout...;o)
