After the Pink Rug gathering, Raquelle walked home with Erinne.  It was obvious that they had a lot of catching up to do, since they were the best of friends.

Erinne noticed that Raquelle looked a little down.  "Raquelita, are you okay?"

Raquelle lifted up her head and smiled a little.  "I'm okay, thank you for asking.  It's just that when we're in the restaurant, I tend to get nervous when seeing Hector."

"Raquelita, Hector is your boyfriend.  Why do you get nervous?  There is no need."  Erinne made sure she wasn't sarcastic, because she knew how Raquelle would react.

It was a good thing that happened, because Raquelle started to cry.  "I get nervous, because I'm afraid that I'll do something wrong and then I'll get Hector fired.  I'm sorry to be crying like this."

Erinne put her hands on Raquelle's shoulder.  "It's going to be all right, Roque.  You're not going to get Hector fired, because he said it himself.  I know, because he told me.  I mean, chica bonita, look at you.  You're one of the prettiest Colombian African-American girls in Bella Rosa, and Hector was the lucky Puerto Rican to get you!"  Erinne chuckled.  "I know, I know, at first I wasn't happy for you, because I was a bit jealous that Hector was going to come between us, but I realized that I wasn't giving Hector a chance first."

Raquelle wiped her tears.  It felt really good to hear Erinne say those words.

Erinne continued talking.  "God made this relationship happen for a reason."

"Yes," answered Raquelle.  "God knows what He's doing."  She gave Erinne a hug.  "Thank you, amiga."

"You're welcome, Raquelle."  Erinne returned the hug.  Then she parted ways with Raquelle when they arrived on Pineiro Avenue (Raquelle lived on Pineiro Avenue, and Erinne lived on Roberts Street, which was a 10-minute walk from Pineiro Avenue).

When Raquelle arrived at her house, she saw Maribel (her Colombian mother) and Hector sitting on the steps.  "Hola," she greeted.

Maribel got up and hugged her daughter.  Then it was Hector's turn to hug his girlfriend. 

Raquelle started feeling her arms.  "I feel pretty good right now.  I'm just happy that God allowed me to see my favorite people, including you two."

Maribel smiled.  "Why, we appreciate the comment that you said.  Damos las gracias por el comentario que dijiste, mi hija Raquelita."

Hector went up and gave Raquelle another hug.  Then he kissed her on the lips.  "Te quiero, Raquelita.  I love you, Raquelita."

"I love you, too," said Raquelle in a sensual manner.  "I'm so glad you were able to come by after work."

Hector grinned.  "Amy actually let me out early since it was a nice day outside, and she told me to enjoy myself."

"That's nice, Hectorcito.  I'm happy you have a nice supervisor like Amy."

Hector kept his arms around Raquelle and told her how pretty she was.  Raquelle told Hector how good-looking and polite he was.  They looked into each other's eyes and smiled at each other.  Maribel couldn't help but look and smile herself, because she knew she had a daughter who could be sensual but also caring and loving at the same time.
