Okay, so I want to rewrite a book I started here on StoryMash and I have a lot of work to do. I need to better develop characters, give more description, figure out locations, time and of course the official name of the book.
So basically I thought I might as well track my progress somewhere right?
Well I thought the best place to do that was right here on SM :). I mean it is the place I started.
This forum post is for anyone who is working on a book that they want to go and get published.
I'd like to hear the summaries of your stories and also share tips on writing with people.
So I guess here I go with my first update.
I'm working on expanding the chapters.
It's a very long process but with a little instrumental music and some Pocky by my side it'll hopefully feel like it isn't take that long.
Well bye for now everyone.
Keep writing!

So, are you talking about Hit? If so, I think you should definately make it a book. It does need work, you're right, but it would make an excellent book. I'd be your first buyer. Talk to me on Gmail and I'll help you out with it. We should start editing and revising it if we're going to get anywhere. Of course you can get the full credit.

Be careful not to fill it with meaningless and unnecessary fluff. Quality is better than quantity. Actually, the second draft of your manuscript should be shorter than your first draft due to removing writing that is not needed.

I agree, character development is important. If you want a character to stay the same (for example, personality and how the reader comes to identify them), make sure their actions and words remain synonymous.
